Hahaha they have two lips! Tulips are actually the flowers of Kings. I forgot the history, but this is all that I can remember. The place is too crowded and I would love to see it when there are no crowds about! A lovely post my friend. Blessings!

Totally agree and respect not going to crowded places, this however you can see why it is so popular. Definitely looks like a little bit of Holland in your back yard.

It appears they have recreated the Dutch canals by using blue flowers to represent the water flowing through. A fusion of Eastern and Western gardening styles.

Beautiful fields of tulips! It looks like they are trying to recreate the Keukenhof festival here in the Netherlands! Especially with the windmill! But it is great to see all the colours.
