The white-faced meadowhawk perched on a twig. This was captured at a distance of only 2-3 inches. I rarely capture dragonflies this close, let alone at a distance of only 2-3 inches because none of them have the guts to withstand such a close shot. But this time I got it. Those compound eyes, nose, and feathery thorax are so adorable!
