Awesome! Another step within Bro Bang Season 2... We finished Event 1 within the actual season and here are the rankings! Yay! (& Wow!)
Players from the past season know how it works: Every Monday I publish the Bro Bang rankings after an event is closed (at least if I have electricity/internet). First I talk a little about this or that. And after that I present you the rankings. Sometimes the info here are a little longer, sometimes just short. Maybe you don't like to read the whole text - because of this, I mark important things in
I hope you can see that in your frontend - some frontends interpret things different and is pretty sad that we can't have a common agreement what we enable in our frontends and what not. But this is another topic... However... So...
I am pretty glad that everything worked within the first event within the season 2. The machine didn't broke, the game loads faster, I solves a few bugs (which you can track at @PowerPaul), my backend did everything what it should - but of course there are still 3,4 minor things on the website I have to adapt...
With the amount of players we can be happy - you more than me (wasn't sooo many players after the "long" pause, but this means for you it was less competition - but I really miss @memess and @silviabeneforti...). There were some changings between season 1 and season 2 and a few things are still left, which I have to do in the next days, but most important: How I said, the fundamental mechanisms worked solid. Beside technical changings in the background, which aren't relevant for you as a player, there are some major adaptions:

Different season points:
This is something I did not explained until now. Here we go:
As always: depending on your rank in an event you collect season points. These points get accumulated within the season and at the end of the season we see who has which rank within the season and wins which reward for this.
New/different is: I changed the amount of season points you receive. The goal behind the changings is to provide more event rankings with season points. Additionally I arranged smaller steps. This should provide a longer lasting and more thrilling experience plus even more head-to-head competitions.
So the first 20 ranks (in season 1 it was 13 ranks) within an event receive season points. 10 season points for the 1st (13 in the past), 9.5 season points for the 2nd (12 in the past), 9 for the 3rd rank (11 in the past) and so on. Down to rank 20 which will receive 0.5 season points. Great? Great! More fun for more players, bigger competition, more thrill. Awesome!

And I am really happy about, that I and all the persons which worked for Bro Bang can be a part of your exciting journey on the Hive Blockchain.
