The video for TiK ToK by Kesha is even more outrageous than the lyrics, showing a day in the life of this carefree soul. She wakes up in the bathtub, wanders the town, goes to the club, and ends up in the bathtub again. Tomorrow will start the cycle again.
My Own Lyrics Challenge is going through the years to spotlight cool songs and this post is for 2010. “TiK ToK” was a huge hit in that year and played incessantly everywhere. It ended up the Number One Billboard Single for 2010 and was on many international charts for months. It got great critical reviews, but oddly did not win or even get nominated for any of the major music awards.
