Wednesday Walk

Hills, golden leaves and crazy birds

Forest walk pl 1.jpg
With good weather, the autumn forests are just irresistible. And when you have them just a 10 min walk from home, it is almost a sin not to go there. I can spend hours wandering around with a camera in my hand.

But first, we have to get there. After the rains, the dirt roads between the fields were extremely muddy, but it was a small price to pay. And from there, you enter the colorful forest. This is why I love autumn.

This is mostly pine forest with some birches or acacias here and there. It is the bushes that add the colour with all the shades of yellow and red.

I was trying to catch a small spider, but it hid fast enough :p I got the beetles instead, resting on grass. There are not too many bugs at this time of the year.
Forest walk pl 7.jpg
Some rain or morning mist leftovers.

And of course, mushrooms! The warm weather and lots of rain are what they like the most. I could see them popping all over the place. Most were not edible (or unknown to me), so I just shot them.

Time to move on... A little bit further away, the forest is a lot cleaner, and there are almost only pines. Tall, old trees.

I heard a bunch of **Nuthatches **fighting over something. Five or six of them were chasing each other from branch to branch. I tried to catch them, but Sigma is not a zoom lens, and this is the best I could do.  How many can you spot? :)

That's how this part of the forest looks. It was pure pleasure to walk on the soft ground.

And when I don't take the camera with me, this is part of my running route.
Forest walk pl 9.jpg Follow the path...
Few hills up, few hills down and nothing else but majestic pines.

Fresh crisp air during your fall season makes wonderful walking conditions to be out listening to the birds creating havoc of their own above and delightful tiny little mushroom on the ground.

  • @furkanmamplam(72)· 1038d

It's a beautiful walk, and you get some nice shots, very small creatures, but you aim well. I really like the shots at the mushrooms you find, they look so adorable😄

Autumn forests are one of the most beautiful things in the world. There are colorful leaves everywhere and even the sky is different in autumn. My favorite season is autumn because it usually rains a lot and there is always the smell of rain in the air. The smell of soil in the first seconds of the rain is like therapy. 😍 These photos are wonderful. I wish I could take such professional photos like you. 😀

I see 3 but not sure... In any case the photos are beautiful

Nice. Loved the photo of the tightrope walker and the one with the water drops.

Those little umbrellas are special for resting after the tightrope exercise... hahaha

In addition to the stable and cool climate, another thing I love about autumn is seeing how the passing of the season turns everything reddish yellow in its wake. what a shame you couldn't catch the spider dear friend @ewkaw instead you found a beautiful beetle, and beautiful mushrooms Excellent shots, you have beautiful shots May you enjoy a beautiful night and a happy rest.
