11/12/24 🎸 ThreeTuneTuesday Band & Album Spotlight! 1989’s Paul's Boutique From The Beastie Boys! The Pet Sounds Of There Career! 🎙️

💿 Bonus Beastie Boy Vlog 🎙️

On this #ThreeTuneTuesday I’m doing something different and picking all my tunes from one album! Going to be shining a light on the #BeastieBoys second record 1989’s Paul's Boutique. This in my opinion is like the Pet Sounds (Beach Boys) of there career. Especially after the first record and getting a rep of being frat rap they just went to another level on Paul's Boutique! The 3 albums that followed (1992,1994,1998) were sick records also but Paul's Boutique is just a unique piece of work and beyond being the Pet Sounds of a there career it might just be the Pet Sounds of hip hop for that period!

(1989)

Let’s Go!

Artist - Beastie Boys Song - Shake Your Rump Album - Paul's Boutique (1989)

Artist - Beastie Boys Song - Hey Ladies Album - Paul's Boutique (1989)

Artist - Beastie Boys Song - Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun Album - Paul's Boutique (1989)

Artist - Beastie Boys Song - Egg Man Album - Paul's Boutique (1989)

Those are my picks on this Beastie Boys album spotlight #ThreeTuneTuesday 💿

Who would have predicted that little punk band from years earlier would be the most trying out one of the most important rap albums of all time! No just one of the most important records of all time!

If you aren’t familiar with this record it’s definitely worth listening cover to cover. It’s just a great album all around and the progression from album one to album two is stunning!
