Hello everyone! During the past two weeks of PokerChained Open Beta you’ve shared your thoughts, advices and remarks with us. We’ve listened to your suggestions, worked on them and now we are happy to provide you with a solid update :)
So, what’s new?
Contract
For a long time it was impossible to finish the game correctly if one of the players didn’t transfer the keys (e.g. exited the app in a wrong way), which was a serious problem. When such situation occurred, the contract sent bets back to the players, which could be an advantage for dishonest users. To prevent the possibility of abuse, the following improvements have been made:
If there are five cards on the deck the game always finishes correctly - even if one of the players left (or haven’t transferred the keys for another reason).
As an interim solution, we’ve implemented system of penalties. If the game finishes incorrectly, all the bets of the player who is responsible for it are split between poker-room and the remaining players (who didn’t fold) in 30/70 proportion respectively.
We’re working on the solution which will allow to finish the game normally despite of circumstances (its implementation is scheduled for this month already).
Web-interface
Since the majority of our players prefer web-interface, we’ve paid special attention to it:
Interaction with Scatter has been improved
Design improvements (table, cards and dealer’s button are brighter and easy to understand):
We’ve changed the logic of the buttons (now you can see the amount of CALL, also BET, RAISE and ALL-IN have become much more convenient):
We’ve improved the displaying of players’ actions
Lobby Optimization: among other improvements, now you can see the number of users playing at different tables:
Standalone Client (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS)
Several minor bugs have been fixed
Implemented a way to update private key (now it’s easy to change the account in the client).
Also we’re working on the app’s design.
IMPORTANT: unfortunately, 04/08/2019 Google deleted our App from Google Play. We are working on a solution to this problem, but for now you need to download the updated app from Github
