Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! The last time I beat Eagle Libre was a long time ago in June. I posted about my winning game in here. https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@iamchessguy/beating-eagle-libre Since then, I fought with Eagle Libre more times and I lost all of them. I finally gave up and fought the lower level bosses. Today, I got the boss in the wheel again. This time, I can use Arena Vanguard cards and chose the hardest boss, Eagle Libre.
The version I fought today has the following skills.
Attack - 7 Melee Armor - 8 Life - 91 Speed - 3
Skills: Void Armor, Impede, Snare and Swiftness
Because it has Void Armor, I avoided Water element and magic. It has Impede that will affect my tank. Snare is useless and Swiftness will increase its speed.
I decided to fight him with the Fire element.
My team was composed of the following cards.
Jolius Blast - It's maxed level card from @iblast. It will have six attack, six speed and Retaliate to fight against Eagle Libre.
Buns the Unseen - An Arena Vanguard card from @bunsbagsandcaps. It's also maxed level when fighting the boss. It has three attack and eight armor for defense.
Eris Bimblenok - Legendary jackpot card. It has Inspire skill that empowers melee cards.
The other members of my line up were attackers to help decrease Eagle Libre's high life stats.
Jolius and Buns were killed off but Eagle's life was already decreased to nine. The other members took charge and beat Eagle. It was a fine win that would not be possible without the Arena Vanguards.

Join a Guild
If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
