It breathed.

At this point in the story, I couldn't help chuckling. What a hilarious and strange morning for Myra! πŸ˜„ I'm thinking her mimosa was spiked with something or maybe she had one too many. Or was Edith messing with her? And after everything she went through, she simply throws the dough and rolling pin in the trash and goes for for the ready-made biscuits. Wow, I can't blame her though.

This was an enjoyable read. I like how the story slowly moved from creepy to downright surreal and kind of funny. Also, the imagery of the dough tasting like "forgotten winters and thunderstorms" was a lovely touch.

A living, breathing dough! I'll keep this story in mind the next time I bake and hope my dough doesn't turn into something like that! πŸ˜„ Beautifully written as always. 🌹

Before even starting breakfast, she fixed a batch of mimosas to accompany her on her breakfast baking. Coupled with her nightmare the night before, a lot was going on that morning. Yes, indeed it was a strange start to the day for Myra.

What she did to fix the problem was also strange. I would've been yelling and screaming for my family to come see and help. The proof she felt was in the borrowed flour, the reason she turned to her next door neighbor. All I can say is be careful who you borrow from, lolol.

I'm the worst baker, so I don't even bother and resort to more convenient, but still tasty choices. Thanks so much for your visit and engagement with my story. I'm pleased you found the humor in my character's unusual morning baking venture. I'll bet her grandma never encountered such a sight. Take care.
