Every weekend, my family would find a good place not just to dine in but as well as have some relaxation too.
A good friend of mine recommended that we visit Rafael's Farm in Babatngon, Leyte, approximately 20-30 minutes drive.
So I called my mom and dad that we'll have our lunch over there. My father was somewhat hesitant. He doesnt like travelling too far.
The place welcomes you with its scenic view of the mountain, fresh air and clear blue sky. I like how quiet the place was, you could only hear birds chirpping. Its a haven for tranquility. It's a stress free environment. The place is quite far from the traffic congestion in the city.
They have built in a man-made river. And the gazeboo seemed unfinished yet.
It is surrounded with very green pasture and huge lawn that your kids will enjoy running.
There were mini bridges, too. It was cute! We saw some little fishes and frogs or probably toads, not sure. haha..
Best of all, the fooooooooooood was superb! It was a very satisfying lunch. Though the service t than expeook kinda longer than expected. But we did not mind for we used the time to roam around and explore the place.
My parents seemed to enjoy the place. Its pretty obvious the joy written in their faces. Oh! You know how oldies gets when they dont seem to like the place or the food, they would just blurt it out in the open. hehe.. This time, they were just happy.
The food was a bit pricey, but it was equally delicious and worth our the money. Thr price ranges from Php280.00 - 500.00 (5$-10$).
We ordered the following food.
CRISPY PATA
BABY BACK RIBS
TEMPURA
BAKED SCALLOPS
After a yummy meal, you can still stay a little while. You can even take a nap. When you feel full, you just want to lie down.
Great food, beautiful place. I could come back to this anytime...
