Bitcoin and Hive Predictions 2024!

It seems all the rage now with all the influencers giving their crypto predictions and what tokens are going to be hot or not in 2024. Therefore, I thought I would join in the fun and make a few predictions guesses as to what the crypto prices would be by the end of 2024 and then I can review this at the end of the year and see how far off or close I was.

My method is not scientific but I try to guess based on the upcoming Bitcoin Halving. There is for sure more at play than this, but I thought it would be a good basis for trying to make a guess.

Bitcoin

The first guess would be for Bitcoin. Bitcoin has broken to just under $42k as I write this laying at $41892 on Binance. To help me with my guess, I will check the halving chart from Glassnode which shows the Bitcoin price 1 year after the halving.

However, I want to know the price performance around 8 months after the last halving, so I checked approximately here on 31 December which maybe is nearly 8 months.

The % price performance for each Epoch are and how that would effect the current price:

Epoch 2 - 756% - $316 704 Epoch 3 - 159% - $66 608 Epoch 4 - 474% - $198 568

Hopefully my numbers are right here, and this looks pretty bullish for Bitcoin next year!

Does this help me? If Bitcoin follows the trend from one of the previous epochs, then it could reach one of those prices. As the epoch 2 was quite some time ago, perhaps it makes sense to focus more on the last 2 epochs. This would mean a price between $66 608 and $198 568.

Therefore, my prediction guess would be in between these 2 numbers and I go with $131960 for the price 31 Dec 2024!

Hive

With Hive, it is a little more difficult as there isn't so much history as with Bitcoin. We can see with the chart that Hive started pumping around 10 months after the last halving. It is also important to remember the Hive hard fork was on March 20th 2020, so it was a fairly new chain back then too.

Therefore, I took the change in price from say Litecoin that should be similar to Hive and generally track the crypto market as a whole. In the last halving, 8 months after the price was up 185%.

If I apply that to Hive that is currently trading at $0,3621, we could see a price by the year end of $1,03! Therefore, I am predicting guessing that Hive would be $1,03 by the end of the year.

This might not be the best way to make some NGU price guesses, but let's see how it might actually land in 12 months time. Of course, the values are not guaranteed to go up because of the halving and maybe they might not go up at all this time. Therefore this guessing method is not really scientific and just for fun!

    I like your prediction, eventhough we love to see $HIVE to the moon, but having fellow hivians buzzing Hive will be $4-$6 make my brain numb.

    My prediction HIVE will be around $0,6-0,8.

    Im not a trader at all but just looking at the chart how it has slow down the % it grows after every halving this would probably be the smallest one of all going towards $135k ish, but I have thought thats its all about how high it goes from its ATL during bear market, people tend to see it the other way, how high from its previous ATH probably why most ppl buy during bull markets, all I want is Hive ATH dont care much about BTC 🤑

    I don't know what to say, I'm rather bad at these crypto calculations, but the last ATH was, for BTC, I think somewhere in the region of 66K and the next ATH would then be what you're predicting around 130K, so about 2x the previous ATH. HIVE could also go to 2x the last ATH, so somewhere around $4. Why only $1? Once it starts growing then more or less everything grows. btw: I'm not predicting nor guessing, just discussing :) !DHEDGE

    I'd take a dollar Hive. And I'd definitely take 132k BTC! Hive is much harder to predict, given that so much of our price fate seems to be controlled by a single Korean exchange. But time will tell, eh?

    $1.03 Hive guess at the year end is a fair one and that was my thought too. But for Bitcoin, $131.960 looks ridiculously high. I was think it should be around $80 to $90.

    You know what, I think you could be right about Bitcoin. I was guessing around the 150 mark, but I think your prediction is closer to what it'll be.

    With Hive, I'd love to see it hit 1.50 in 2024, but I think 1.03 is still good. Who knows what'll happen in the coming months/ years, but I've been doing what I can to be prepared for it.

    In case of Bitcoin I think in the price prediction is a little bit high although it's not impossible either. In case of Hive I think 1.03 is very little. One or 2 pump is enough to smash the target if the market remain bullish.

    It's crypto and anything can happen anytime. Who knows it something more better happens 🤗.

    I'd love to see HIVE above $1 - but it hasnt been following BTC of late compared to other years, so I'm worried about whether it will get there or not. But while its low its still a great time to accumulate so I'm happy with that. Although a pump in price would be pretty great. !ALIVE !LOLZ !PIZZA !PGM

    I think 1.03 USD is a fair guess for HIVE by the end of the year, but I think it go higher in 2025 ... 2.00 is my guess 😍

    Good predictions, for me, hive might easily go to 1.2$ just slightly above your predictions. I think BTC might sit at $125k for me. I expected the corrections that are happening. To me, even if it closes the year at 41k it's still very good.
