The evolution of Splinterlands continues and it seems the measures used against bot farms has worked with the noticeable decrease in battles for wild and the market has been flooded with many level 1 cards as they sell their assets.
There seems to be a small uptick in players in modern although the wall of max level decks is still there. The SPS earnings are better in modern and I seem to have progressed better than before reaching Gold 3 so far. I am only missing the better glint earnings from wild at the moment.
I do wonder how it has affected also the number of transactions on Hive with much lower battle numbers. Have the Hive nodes noticed the lower volume also?
With the new season pass introduced, I have now decided to focus on modern and that means to reshuffle my assets and keep modern only cards. As the rebellion cards are almost 10x more expensive than the chaos legion set, I have decided to focus just on these cards for the moment, although I do have some riftwatchers that I also like.
To free up some cash, I decided to sell my wild assets like untamed cards that I will no longer use. It was hard to list up some of my favorite wild cards like Axe Master, especially when the price has dropped so much compared to how much I paid.
The alt market has been getting pummelled and Splinterlands assets are no different. SPS and Voucher have fallen around 50% in 60 days, which is a big fall. We also then had the recent big drop in Hive with the Korean delisting scare. With this in mind, I have sold my SPS and will rent until I find a good reentry point. If SPS drops to 0.004, I could effectively double my SPS stake...
The asset I like the most is DEC as there is the most demand and use case for it. However, if I was to invest in a token, I would choose the hardest one available.
Some critical deck updates I have made towards my goal of a maxxed out chaos legion deck were to max Xenith Monk, Runemancer Atuat, Goblin Psychic, Soul Strangler, Merdaali Guardian and Baakjira.
Once my water deck is fully maxed out, I will move on to the earth deck and finish maxing it out too. Apparently using low bcx price, I need to spend $239 to max out the core cards.
Although I am missing some of the untamed cards, having a more focused approach is helping for me to keep on top of things with thinking about less cards. If I am only playing modern, it doesn't make sense anyway to have them just sitting there doing nothing.
