I Have Failed This Month .:. MyHiveGoals 2025

Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose... I suppose we are all aware of that, but despite knowing, it always hurts to accept failure... It's not a big deal, as the point is to win more time than lose, isn't it? Well, my failure isn't directly connected to #MyHiveGoals, but rather to #HivePUM... I had to share it with you to feel better... 😃 I hope you don't mind...

After 10 consecutive months of doing regular daily Hive power-ups, I have missed a day... It was March 5th, and I have no idea how it happened... I have this "task" on my daily To-Do list and somehow, I checked it as done, without doing it... The whole month is a bit weird and I lost my focus... That's for sure, and there are no excuses for it...

Back to the #MyHiveGoals numbers... The best proof of how lost in time and space I am is that my last post about goals was over a month ago!!! 😱 Before, I was doing them every single week! Luckily for me, my goals didn't suffer a lot as I have enough passive income sources that cover my lack of focus and laziness...

This HivePower chart looks almost exactly the same as the last one... 250 HIVE powered on #HivePUD, and the rest is slow growth, mainly from my curation rewards...

After exactly 5 weeks, which is a bit more than a month, I have grown my HivePower goal from 106,559 to 108,263, which is around 1700 HP! Not bad at all! Especially knowing how distracted was I!

Regarding my staked HBD goal, I worked a bit more on it... I have brought some money from the "outside" and staked to my account on HIVE... Believe it or not, while we had this crazy "mini-bull run" a few months ago, there were some nice opportunities on chains like SOL or SUI, where you could get more than 15-20% APR on lending your stablecoins! As I did take some profits when we were up there, I was using those DeFi platforms to get some more USDC and USDT...

But, when the crypto went into red (as most markets) demand for stablecoins went down and with that, the lending APRs went down... At the moment, the best you can get is around 6-8% on some stablecoins... In most cases, around 5%... Sometimes, we don't know how to appreciate what we have here on HIVE!

My Hive Meetups goal is still at 0, and I had a chance to visit at least one meetup in the last month or so, but I got the information too late and there was no way to organize the trip(s) so fast... Despite having that ZERO, I'm still confident that there will be more occasions in the future!

A lot of things changed regarding the Rising Star game and some parameters that were important in the game (as number of cards, for example), aren't important that much anymore! So, I will keep this goal running, but I suppose that I will fail to reach the goal as I have moved my focus on other things INSIDE the game... For example, the number of UNIQUE cards, but also, getting more cards from the newly launched PAWN SHOP... The game looks simple, but you can play it in different ways... For some reason, I was ignoring the CRAFTING instruments part, but after trying it, I like it... 😃 So, I will do that too from now on! As these gaming goals are labeled as "flexible", maybe I will change this one in the future... will see...

When I created these gaming goals, after just a few weeks I became aware that my GolemOverlord goal could be harder to achieve than it looked like at first sight... Today, after 2.5 months, this is the only monthly goal that I accomplished! 😃 In the last 5 weeks, I jumped 15 places in Rankings and I'm now at 362nd place, while my yearly goal is to get in Top 350! Doing fine, but I have to be cautious as I could drop in rankings if someone else pushes more than I do!

I know exactly how it feels to miss a day of PUM, and what follows next. If you want to continue in April, you need to be extra careful, because you will not be as focused after missing PUM in March. It happened to me, a few months in a row when I missed a day inexplicably, just like it happened to you. It all started with one day in one month, but that repeated the next month...

Nice. I've run into some massive expenses and debt offline and it's affected my productivity. So despite lapses here 1700 is huge. The streak will not continue forever and you know it lol. I think it's enjoyable while it keeps going, but they're meant to last so long and you're human

Sometimes, flexible goals are easier to achieve than non-flexible goals, because the former can give us more room to be creative in how to go about achieving it.

Nice progress, and sometimes things just happen. You can just get back on track next month for hivepum. As for Rising Star, the rankings changes moved up a bit, but yea the number of cards aren't as important now.

I totally understand you. I was trying to reach my first #HivePUM but I lost a day because I kept procrastinating the power up that day and when I remembered it was too late.

It is amazing that even without being so active here on Hive you managed to earn more than 1000 HP in 5 weeks. That's something I just can dream about.

So nice that you can make use of the Mini bulll run outside of Hive, and bring the profit in. Sometimes with all the distraction, it is so easy to lost focus and then miss the goal that we wanted. but still it is so nice that you can keep Powering up more and more HP. ;) !LUV !PIZZA
