The brilliant friend continues, unstoppable his run. With only 2 episodes to go, Saverio Costanzo's TV series is already starting to miss him. A series so stratified, rich in content and readings that it would take weeks to analyze. A series that despite focusing on alchemy and the relationship between the 2 protagonists, always manages not to be static but in continuous movement. Nothing is taken for granted in this magnificent TV series. Nothing is flat. The same relationship between Lenù and Lila is absolutely always in the balance. In these 2 episodes, for example, Nino Sarratore stands between the 2, triggering an almost definitive break but above all a fundamental turning point for both of them. Lila finds love, a love that lives behind her friend, who has always been in love with Nino. The deflagrating passion that overwhelms Lila and Nino represents a low and unexpected blow for Lenù who, thanks to this boulder, will end up hardening her character and making a series of choices that will define her character and formation. The point of arrival will be to choose to "emigrate" to Pisa to study at the famous Normale. Lila will suffer a hard blow dictated by his own choices and illusions. In fact, she will have the courage to leave the district and her marriage behind her, but she will end up going back to her steps because of her turbulent relationship with Nino. Lenù suffers at the beginning but then she manages to come out of it very well, marking a change of pace that will no longer see her passively following her friend's genius and madness. Lila, she will be the one who, as always, will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who will be the one who, as always, will make the cards on the table, she will make fun of everyone, she will move the pawns but she will end up being the real defeat of these 2 episodes with a sad return in the arms of her hated husband. In the middle is everything, we could say that in the middle is life itself. Choices, dramas, fights, loves, passions, surprises. A series of ordinary events but for this very reason universal and difficult to tell without being trivial. Costanzo manages not to be trivial and even in 2 episodes less exceptional than the previous ones he manages to elevate the story to the nth power. Only 2 episodes are missing at the end of this second season and we can safely say that also this second season represents a masterpiece of contemporary seriality and not only.

L'amica geniale continua, inarrestabile la sua corsa. A soli 2 episodi dalla fine la serie tv di Saverio Costanzo inizia già a far sentire la sua mancanza. Una serie talmente stratificata, ricca di contenuti e di letture che richiederebbe settimane per essere analizzata. Una serie che nonostante verta sull'alchimia e il rapporto fra le 2 protagoniste, riesce sempre a non essere statica ma in continuo movimento. Nulla è scontato in questa magnifica serie tv. Nulla è piatto. Lo stesso rapporto fra Lenù e Lila è assolutamente sempre in bilico. In questi 2 episodi, ad esempio, Nino Sarratore si frappone fra le 2 scatenando una rottura quasi definitiva ma soprattutto un punto di svolta fondamentale per entrambe. Lila trova l'amore, un amore che vive alle spalle dell'amica, da sempre innamorata di Nino. La passione deflagrante che travolge Lila e Nino rappresenta un colpo basso e inaspettato per Lenù che, grazie a questo macigno finirà per indurire il proprio carattere e compiere una serie di scelte che ne definiranno carattere e formazione. Il punto di arrivo sarà quello di scegliere di "emigrare" verso Pisa per studiare alla celebre Normale. Lila di contrappasso subirà un duro colpo dettato dalle sue stesse scelte e illusioni. Avrà infatti il coraggio di lasciarsi alle spalle il Rione ed il suo matrimonio ma finirà poi per ritornare sui suoi passi a causa della turbolenta relazione con Nino. Lenù subisce all'inizio ma poi riesce a venirne fuori egregiamente segnando un cambio di passo che non la vedrà più passivamente seguire il genio e la follia dell'amica. Lila, sarà colei che come sempre spariglierà le carte in tavola, farà di testa sua, si prenderà gioco di tutti, muoverà lei le pedine ma finirà per essere la vera sconfitta di questi 2 episodi con un mesto ritorno fra le braccia dell'odiato marito. Nel mezzo c'è tutto, potremmo dire che nel mezzo c'è la vita stessa. Scelte, drammi, litigi, amori, passioni, sorprese. Una serie di eventi ordinari ma proprio per questo universali e difficili da raccontare senza essere banali. Costanzo riesce a non esserlo ed anche in 2 episodi meno eccezionali dei precedenti riesce ad elevare il racconto all'ennesima potenza. Mancano solo 2 episodi alla fine di questa seconda stagione e si può dire tranquillamente che anche questa seconda stagione rappresenta un capolavoro della serialità contemporanea e non solo.
