When I saw this contest I was looking for a place where I could eat some noodles. When I went out on a date with my girlfriend we went to this Restaurant called Yes Pho which serves Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine for dinner.
The ambiance of this place looks so relaxing. A lot of plants and lanterns.
This just looks so amusing. That they used live plants to decorate their restaurant.
My girlfriend decided to stay outside at the table across their sign.
This is just a small restaurant. But the design looks amusing.
You could even watch them prepare your noodles.
Here are some shot of the place inside. They only had 4 tables.
This is their whole menu. They sell
Rolls, Salads, Noodles, Banh Mi(Vietnamese Salad), Rice Meals, Refreshments, Desserts and you can buy extras.
My girlfriend got Calamansi with honey (hot). I tasted it and it was actually good. It had the balance of sweetness and sourness.
Wo ordered Fried Egg Rolls that costs around 85 Php or 1.63 United States Dollar. It a Roll sutffed with pork, egg, noodles and a variety of vegetables. Served with nuoc mam sauce. When I bit it, it had a different texture compared to what my grandma makes but it was good. And I tried dipping it in the sauce and it really complimented it.
I decided to get their house specialty. Pho..... It was my very first time tasting Pho. I ordered Pho Ba(Beef Pho) a Regular bowl costs 195 Php or 3.74 United States Dollar.

And I just mixed them all up. My very first bowl of Pho was delicious. I was also adding some Hoisin sauce with it.
My girlfriend ordered Bun Thit Nuong. It is Dry vermicelli noodles in nuoc mam sauce, served with grilled meat of choice, fried rolls and a variety of vegetables. She chose Boneless chicken. A Regular serving also costs 195 Php or 3.74 United States Dollar. What amazed me was the presentation of this dish.
I really enjoyed my first experience eating Vietnamese Cuisine. It really felt different because once you take a bite from each meal there will be a lot of flavors bursting into your mouth. Here were the drawbacks though, I wanted more meat ahahahaha and their Pho was a little oily but then again I still enjoyed eating in this restaurant.
There will always be room for dessert so we ended up sharing cup of Coco Jelly. This was 50 Php or 0.96 United States Dollar At first I was like what the heck was I taking a photo of until I saw the side where there is white gelatin in the bottom and the transparent one on top. The white gelatin was the coconut. It actually tasted good. I thought with the first bite that there was only a hint of coconut but as we were finishing the cup the there was a strong flavor of the coconut.
