Even with mass production, 3D printing, and AI, there is still a market for handcrafted products. This is evidenced by platforms like Etsy.

Another problem that is arising is the overuse of technology in essential items such as automobiles, which are getting increasingly expensive to repair without the risk of bricking them. I'm seeing a trend of car enthusiasts preferring older cars that can be repaired without going to a dealer.

In technology, there are people working on analog computers, which are more efficient and reliable. By comparison, digital is increasingly more power hungry and complex.

I think we are in a phase of exploring what is possible and what is worth doing with AI. We will inherently discover the drawbacks and limitations too. We may very well develop markets and industries that exclude AI integration.

There is already evidence of the harm of AI for students who rely on it. And AI psychosis is a known problem. These are issues we wouldn't have discovered without first having widespread access to the technology. In short, we are discovering what gaps are worth filling with AI and which gaps are worth filling with actual skill.

Nope. Etsy will suffer also - as it still requires people able to pay. As more and more lose their job, who can afford it?

It will be too late. As it is for music and movies and content creation already.

In short, we are discovering what gaps are worth filling with AI and which gaps are worth filling with actual skill.

Again - profit will come over people. No matter how many die at the hands of profit.
