Taking Aerial Photos from a Paramotor 📷

So, aerial photography is typically all done by drones it seems now, but I get to take aerial photos from my paramotor while I'm flying around enjoying these sites first hand. ImageText

Photos from the sky are actually pretty tricky, first of all, you have to be comfortable and stable flying your aircraft with enough time to switch to your camera, snap some shots and get back to the controls and scanning for other air traffic (I'm only flying visual flight reference, VFR, so no fancy instruments at all to detect other planes). This is my acreage from around 500' up, it looks so beautiful and green still this fall as we have had an abnormally wet and cool summer, so it didn't all turn brown and kill off the grass. The 4 horses in the top right are especially happy about the grass still growing. ImageText

Down low at 5' off the wheet fields is pretty darn fun as well. ImageText

Cruising out to get the river, I can get shots from many directions with this 360 camera. ImageText

Just flying the fields. ImageText

OK, that is some serious bee hives down there. Stay away, bees don't go well when they fly into the sides of your helmet. ImageText

And this is actually my takeoff, not landing, to start the flight. Just getting the wing up and centered, then I'll hit the throttle and run into the sky. ImageText

What good photos, I imagine the ride in the air, I would like to do it someday, there are things that can only be seen from that point of view.

Man this really seems like so much fun. I am jealous. I have absolutely no idea, how much does a paramotor setup cost?
