In the dim alleys of Nyx-Vega, under the cold glow of neon lights, a discreet exchange was taking place. A hooded man handed a small, smooth black coin to a merchant of cybernetic implants.
— No credits, only SECRET, whispered the man as he retreated into the shadows.
The merchant, hesitant at first, examined the coin. A shiver ran down his spine. For weeks now, this unknown currency had been circulating in the underworld of the kingdoms. Its purchasing power surpassed all traditional currencies. Rumors said that the most influential figures of the Five Kingdoms already possessed it.
Meanwhile, atop the floating towers of Aethra, Solis Vay gazed at the horizon. A servant approached respectfully.
— Grand Architect, our analysts have detected a strange phenomenon. Our banking systems are recording transactions in an unknown currency.
Solis frowned.
— A new currency? Who is behind it?
— We don’t know. But it’s spreading fast. Too fast.
In the kingdom of Ferroka, Kaelos Drak received a similar report. His advisor burst into his military quarters.
— Warlord, soldiers are exchanging their pay for SECRET. They say this currency allows them to acquire better weapons without going through our banks.
Kaelos clenched his fists. An uncontrolled currency meant a threat. Who dared challenge Ferroka’s authority over military trade?
In Orbis, within the great floating citadel of the Sanctuary of the Eye, Mirren received a troubling vision. In the depths of her scrying pool, fragmented images appeared: chests filled with black coins, shadowy figures exchanging bags of SECRET, and, most disturbingly, a shifting, intangible shadow weaving its web around the kingdoms.
In the fractured city of Onyros, the Dream Emissary observed a strange phenomenon. Shared dreams among the inhabitants whispered the name SECRET, a growing obsession infiltrating even the collective unconscious. Those who possessed these coins seemed more influential, their desires fulfilled effortlessly.
In Nyx-Vega, Vayron Krynn had the composition of SECRET analyzed by his advanced laboratories. What they discovered was alarming: the currency was not merely a coin but a complex interface, capable of interacting with the quantum systems of the kingdoms.
In the shadows, far beyond the known borders, Vote-Com watched. Its invisible hand tightened its grip on the kingdoms. The vote was approaching, and already, the foundations of the old order were shaking.

Chapitre 2 : L'Ombre du SECRET
Dans les ruelles basses de Nyx-Vega, sous l’éclat froid des néons, un échange discret avait lieu. Un homme encapuchonné tendit une petite pièce noire et lisse à un marchand d’implants cybernétiques.
— Aucun crédit, uniquement du SECRET, murmura l’homme en reculant dans l’ombre.
Le marchand, d’abord hésitant, examina la pièce. Un frisson parcourut son échine. Depuis quelques semaines, cette monnaie inconnue circulait dans les souterrains des royaumes. Son pouvoir d’achat dépassait toutes les devises traditionnelles. Les rumeurs disaient que les plus influents des Cinq Royaumes en possédaient déjà.
Pendant ce temps, au sommet des tours suspendues d’Aethra, Solis Vay contemplait l’horizon. Un serviteur s’avança respectueusement.
— Grand Architecte, nos analystes ont découvert un phénomène étrange. Nos systèmes bancaires enregistrent des transactions en une monnaie inconnue.
Solis fronça les sourcils.
— Une nouvelle monnaie ? Qui en est à l’origine ?
— Nous l’ignorons. Mais elle se propage vite. Trop vite.
Dans le royaume de Ferroka, Kaelos Drak reçut un rapport similaire. Son conseiller entra en trombe dans son quartier militaire.
— Seigneur de Guerre, les soldats échangent leur solde contre du SECRET. Ils disent que cette monnaie leur permet d’obtenir de meilleures armes, sans passer par nos banques.
Kaelos serra les poings. Une monnaie incontrôlée signifiait une menace. Qui osait défier l’autorité de Ferroka sur le commerce militaire ?
À Orbis, dans la grande citadelle flottante du Sanctuaire de l’Œil, Mirren reçut une vision troublante. Au cœur de son bassin de clairvoyance, des images fragmentées apparaissaient : des coffres remplis de pièces noires, des silhouettes dissimulées échangeant des sacs de SECRET, et, plus inquiétant encore, une ombre mouvante, intangible, qui tissait sa toile autour des royaumes.
Dans la cité éclatée d’Onyros, l’Emissaire Onirique observait un phénomène étrange. Des rêves partagés entre habitants murmuraient le nom de SECRET, une obsession naissante s’infiltrant jusque dans l’inconscient collectif. Ceux qui possédaient ces pièces semblaient plus influents, leurs désirs s’exauçant sans effort apparent.
À Nyx-Vega, Vayron Krynn fit analyser la composition du SECRET par ses laboratoires avancés. Ce qu’ils découvrirent fut inquiétant : la monnaie n’était pas simplement une pièce, mais une interface complexe, capable d’interagir avec les systèmes quantiques des royaumes.
Dans l’ombre, bien au-delà des frontières connues, Vote-Com observait. Sa main invisible resserrait son emprise sur les royaumes. Le vote approchait, et déjà, les fondations de l’ancien ordre tremblaient.
