Coconut trees are rich in tropical countries. It is considered as the "Tree of Life" because every part of the tree, from root to fruit has its purpose.
The coco fruit itself has tons of uses, such as its water used to quench our thirst and can be a sports drink alternative. Matured coconut meat also called Copra is used in beauty products. The shell can be made as charcoal or the half shell used to polish the floor.

Coco Mama offers coconut desserts in a shell. We chose Coconut Ice Cream with Mango to have that sweet soury taste from mangoes that will naturally blend with the coco ice cream and real coco meat. They actually prepare the coco shell upon ordering. So you can ensure that the coconut would not be sour upon eating. I also liked the rice crispies and ube to add color and taste to the treat.
The best way to eat this sweet cold ice cream is while watching the beautiful sunset of boracay. Though we can't really sit near the shore while eating (due to Boracay's strict regulations), we still managed to enjoy the view and be happy with each other's company.
