We had 2 boats, so one of the people there took a pic of our boat; the author of these lines is visible :)

Marina Bay is probably the most iconic place in Singapore! 🇸🇬😍 It’s easy to see why so many tourists visit... especially when the view looks this beautiful at night! 📸

Ermoupoli is the capital and cultural centre of the Greek island Syros and the biggest city of the Cyclades.
Ermoupoli was founded in the 1820ies by war refugees from other Greek islands. It became quickly the leading industrial center of Greece and its main port, until Piraeus took over in the late 19th century. More pics from there: https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@stayoutoftherz/syros-katzen-und-kirchen

Completed in 1893, it cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth that separates the Peloponnese peninsula from the Greek mainland. It is 6,4 km (4 miles) long and 24,6m (80.7 feet) wide at sea level. Economically it was a failure early on and today with app. 30 ships passing through it per day, it is rather a tourist attraction.

This was my first time actually being inside of the memorial and I hadn't realized the scale of it until today. It's absolutely massive and something worth checking out by everyone.

I didn't realize that the Reflecting Pool was covered up. I'm aware of what's going on with it right now and the terrible renovations that were attempted on it with wild accusations by our government right now. Last time I was here it was such a beautiful sight with so many people wandering around it, and seeing it closed was pretty sad.

I can see why people love this hobby. It was really cool to be right under the flight path and see the planes taking off and landing.

Crystal city was really cool! Nice little place to hang out and eat some food or just relax with a nice background of water. Thought of staying and eating there but ended up not doing that and continuing on.

Didn't have time to check out the interior, but from the outside, it looks pretty. The water was calming.

They'd just opened this one up very recently and got to try it! There was a line but thankfully it wasn't as bad as I heard it could be. Got the one with strawberries and it was great.

The Acropolis of Athens, as seen from neighboring Philopappos hill. More about it, especially the stunning Parthenon building and it´s treasures, here: https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@stayoutoftherz/athen-akropolis

Always surprised by how clean it is! Compare it to other transit in the US and this one is so much better.

“Heureka” is a kinetic sculpture by Swiss artist Jean Tinguely that moves without any apparent purpose. It was his first public work, created in 1964 for the Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne. It stands at the shore of Lake Zurich since 1967. Three times a day it moves for 8 minutes.

The climb up about 980 steps is well worth it—the view from the Palamidi fortress of the Argolic Gulf, Nafplio, and Acronafplia to the left

Some of the best tacos I've ever had. The unique options per location sets them apart!

There's an active train line at Cowles Bog but also one that seems to have just some freight parked there! Was cool to see multiple trains going by while also the parked stuff are just there.

Got to see some sandhill cranes! So cool! Right near the end of the season here too.

The Belvedere is a historic building complex and art museum in Vienna, Austria. This upper part is from about 1720.

A recreation area with several lakes where you can go sailing, diving, or explore the water by SUP. Or simply go for a swim. At 36°C, it’s a really pleasant way to cool off. 😎

The Computer History Museum in SF is 100% worth going to. So many cool things that you can see like google servers, and yahoo!opoly.

Watched a Planet Earth like show at the Sphere, it was pretty cool. It felt like being in a spaceship flying over Earth.

Somewhere along the road in Illinois near Freeport there was a jet on the side of the road.

Of course it starts at the airport :) Got upgraded last second and that was a great surprise!

These are the coolest train stations I’ve been in! Lots of natural stuff incorporated.

Nice little hike to get there, and a great view. Got to get super close to the water! Others who were braver even got in!
