How many birds can you kill with 1 stone? A chill weekend, some photography, and 14k steps closer to the top 300 all time @actifit nerds?!? Oh ya. Edge of your seat stuff.
Besides a little Jiu jitsu training for 90 minutes and a brewing session, I had blessed little to do this weekend. With 2 big weekends on tap for the next couple, it took a trip to the dog park to break me from my afternoon naps!
More of these aster flowers are popping as some of the last meals of the year for some bees. I think it was @papilloncharity who guessed the last one was a carpenter bee but google lens tells me this is an eastern bumble bee.
The flaming maple across the street is starting to show a little more colour. Taking a pic every few days, I should be able to show it go from green to red in an animated gif if I can remember to keep taking pics this fall.
I am overdue on presenting an early autumn garden report. It should come this week but here is how it looked this evening.
If you are wondering where I going most of my 14k steps today, it was here. For my fellow Canadians, I helped a partner company produce promo material for every Canadian Tire store in the country today. For the rest of my followers, there are hundreds of these hardware stores across our country and this is a good way to block people from escaping the hard work.
Beyond that, the sun has gone down on another fantastic, if relaxing weekend. This week will bring some garden, tunes, wednesdaywalk, then an escape to cottage country! Feel free to follow along!
