cover illustration for Douglas Hackle´s forthcoming novel "Terror Mannequin" (workingtitle)

here are some images of my process :

as you can see the head of mannequin thing was really weird at start but Douglas helped a lot by describing the thing very well and it came out quite creepy in the end. :)

this painting was a lot of fun to do and i hope you have fun looking at it - and even better consider reading the novel once it comes out! :)

    I think that the mannequin got pretty scared because he saw the face of that little doll that he was holding :D I must say that it is not very pleasant to look at her :)

    Great painting! I like that you corrected his face as it was indeed weird at the beginning..

    I'm sure he is very happy with the cover. The novel will probably be awesome too :)

    Your art is great! I think I wouldn't have the book with the cover in my house. My poor heart doesn't resist terror anymore. Now everything is laughter and comedy.
