It was Saturday morning, and I woke up early at around 5:00 AM. I like waking up early because the morning is peaceful and quiet. It gives me enough time to do some things at home before the day gets busy.
As usual, Saturday is one of my busy days. I have many things to do, especially cleaning and fixing things around the house. I'm also preparing breakfast because I always go to the fields. I'm chopping up some Wild bitter gourd leaves that I found here at our farm because that's what I always eat for breakfast.
This morning, my daughter fried some sweet potatoes for our breakfast. I was happy to see her helping in the kitchen. We do not need expensive food to enjoy our morning. Sometimes, simple food prepared at home is already enough to make us feel satisfied.
After doing some things, I also had time to drink my coffee. I really enjoy drinking coffee in the morning because it helps me relax and enjoy the quiet moment before starting another busy day.
My Saturday morning was simple, but I was thankful for it. I enjoyed doing my chores, spending time with my daughter, eating our simple food, and drinking coffee. For me, these little moments at home make an ordinary day special.
