Words bound in a gentle touch As the whisper of your kiss Lingers Breath so soft against my neck Touching that place In my heart Again
Oh, Sunday! Where would the week be without you? We would just be another six days, wouldn't we? That just wouldn't work, you see. You complete me, make me whole, finish the cycle. I thank you for that and so much more. Sunday seems to be a day of grateful vibes passing from one to another, crisscrossing the globe. If I stop and think about it, I have so much to be thankful for. But, that is a post of another color.

“We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.” Frederick Keonig
When memories start to fade, clip them back a bit... then provide food and water to the "cutting" while it is establishing roots.

Today is a perfect day for a perfect day! I've said this before, but, when it is full and unavoidably true, it requires to be said again and again.

Today will be a down day for me, which means that I will probably be spending most of my day in my gardens, giving them a little extra love and deadheading and weeding a bit. I planted some marigold seeds late in the season and now I need to take the time to weed around what their overabundance has caused. I broadcast them throughout the garden, sending the seeds far and wide... and now, we live in the land of Marigold. Here! Take a couple of flowers! Flowers! There always must be flowers!
Sunday is a most popular day! This post is for #BeautifulSunday by @ace108 (where you share the story of your day with us!) and #SublimeSunday by @c0ff33a (where everything eclectic and true, finds a home!) and #SundayPurpleColorChallenge by @Kalemandra - there are so many more great tags out there! Pick one and post!

If ever a moment shall present itself Silent you should be Your gentle touch only serves to remind Of a love that shall never be

Sometimes, doing the needful is enough for a #BeautifulSunday, although not as exciting as some days, is just exactly what we need to be doing. For me, today needed to be all about getting the little things done, as I have spent so much time in the last few weeks doing all the big things that are visible and leaving the small things behind. Toiling about the house, and the flowers and I will be calling it a day, a definite #SublimeSunday in the making, by the Meister of my morning, @c0ff33a. I do love my @c0ff33 and he likes eclectic! A match made in heaven.
I bought a new car yesterday!! I was totally excited! It is a Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited and it is in my driveway right now, saving me gas money! Woo-hoo!
And just because this is so eclectic (It's true!!) I am showing off me steeming with you. I nixed the refrigerator picture this week because there was nothing to show. I haven't gone shopping yet so I could show off the remnants of nothing, but, where is the fun in that?

Even the fuschia on the porch is loving life right now. The right amount of heat, guarded against the sun and plenty of water. Rinse. Repeat. Fuschias are forever thirsty. Such a simple request. Water me generously. Oh! Life is good. Just ask this plant.
I knew before I saw you Your touch would start my turn From the bottom to the top To a place I can breathe Once, all over again
With you, but alone The night almost gone I know how I feel Getting off this merry-go-round Again, all over again

And just like that, these musings are done. I want to thank @ace108 and @c0ff33a for hosting these challenges and just so you know, although much sun and shine was used up today, I can guarantee that there is still a little left in my heart. Have a most fabulous day!

Thank you for visiting my post 💖 Because of you, I come back to post, again and again. Keep it classy, people. Kindness counts. Wherever you go, whatever you do.
I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.

they set my aunts house on fire i cried the way women on tv do folding at the middle like a five pound note. i called the boy who use to love me tried to ‘okay’ my voice i said hello he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
i’ve been praying, and these are what my prayers look like; dear god i come from two countries one is thirsty the other is on fire both need water.
later that night i held an atlas in my lap ran my fingers across the whole world and whispered, "where does it hurt?" it answered,
"everywhere" "everywhere" "everywhere"
