Hello Howard Fullmer back and today I am learing about Curation

The Steam Blockchain is called Proof-of-Brain The idea behind this is the community will decide by upvoting what is good or bad content. And they will do this because they will earn a percentage of everything they curate or upvote/like

Steem is currently set at 50% and 50%. CTPtalk is set at 60% and 40%

Meaning the content creator gets 60% of the payouts every 7 days from created content (This includes comment!). The curators share the remaining 40%

On top of being proof of brain Steem allso operates on a term called proof of stake If you think of bitcoin that operates on proof of work. That means it is earned by the more the computer computer works the more you mine.

Proof of stake works similar but with staking it works with the more you stake the more you mine.

How do you stake tokens? First thing you want to do is click wallet at the top right of ctptalk profile. wallet.png how to stake.png after you click stake you will see this enter stake amount.png Enter the amount of your ctp tolken ballance into the amount field then you come to this page enter stake password.png On this page you want to enter your active key into password field.a

After you do that then you have successfully staked ctp tolkens and have ctp power. And the more staked tokens you have the more you can earn :)

    Great stuff Howard and I am learning here too. I'm trying to figure out if it's better to big with Power or convert ctp to steem to buy ctpm which, as I understand it, will earn you CTP in addition to the other ways. I also understand you have to be at 500 on steem power to be able to have upvote value. Confirm this or correct me sir. :)

    yeah ok right . which pw ctptalk or wallet? when i did my lastpass ask me if i changing login ? also got error trying to do it

    Proof-of-Brain!! Thx for writing this one..and its a good one to keep...since I am one of those who learn, and must keep learn and read the same a few times before it BOOM in :D And you know that @howyf2 :) lol
