#1239 - Baguio Wright and Mines View Park Shots for Wednesday.
Greetings fellow dearest Hiveans around the world! Happy Wednesday to us all. We have made it to the middle of the week and half of the week is already behind us. Let's keep pushing forward with a positive heart and do not let anything slow us down rn. Let us continue supporting each other and making Hiveans community shine. Have an awesome Wednesday☺️.
Now for our daily shots one midday in Baguio City with the cool Cordillera mountain breeze which was a perfection as we made our way to Wright Park. I was here with my wife, our son and some of our relatives and all of us were looking for a relaxing break, our relatives were from a foreign country and it was their first here in Philippines.
Here in Wright Park was the famous "Pool of Pines" stretching out behind us. It’s a long rectangular pool with Tilapia fish framed by rows of beautiful pine trees and flowering plants. The sun was sitting high, reflecting off the water which looked like a giant mirror. Along the pool were vibrant pink, yellow and white flowers in full bloom. We stopped for a family photo with wife and my son.
After strolling around the pines and enjoying the vibe, we drove over to Mines View Park. The energy here was alive and full of local culture. Looking out, we could see the green mountain ranges of Benguet stretching as far as the eye could see and dotted with tiny houses that looked like little toys from where we were standing.
And then the absolute highlight of our stop at Mines View was getting to experience a bit of local tradition. They had these stalls where you could try on traditional Igorot Cordillera clothings. My wife, our son, and I all dressed up with hand-woven attire. We put on a completely different look with traditional feathered head dressem and large sun medallions around our necks.
Some of our relatives joined in the fun posing together on the stone steps under the pine trees. Standing here dressed up together, laughing at how we looked was the perfect way to wrap up our noon adventure.
