En la vida siempre vamos a enfrentar pruebas, dificultades, días grises y momentos duros, eso es parte importante del camino, para nuestro crecimiento y para formar nuestro carácter... A veces parece injusto e inapropiado pero siempre es necesario.
A veces las dificultades vienen como consecuencia de nuestras acciones, como frutos de lo que un día sembramos, otras veces sencillamente nos toca vivirlas tal como ocurre con los desastres naturales, cuando la fuerza de la naturaleza llega no tenemos nada más que hacer que aceptar el reto de la vida.
Hay quienes aseguran que una tragedia natural es un castigo, otros que es un designio, otros se apegan a la ciencia y a la lógica de la geología, unos hablan de maldiciones, otros de pactos... Pero sea cual sea la causa el resultado es desconsolador, muy díficil y todo un reto.
En esta tragedia todos perdimos algo, no todos perdimos lo mismo pero a todos los terremotos nos sacudió, unos perdieron familia, otros perdieron bienes, unos perdieron salud física, otros salud mental, unos perdieron la fé, otros estabilidad o sensibilidad o equilibrio mental... Es que cuando la naturaleza habla, lo hace con fuerza y a veces sin avisar.
Cuando una tragedia natural llega no distingue de raza, ni de sexo, ni de condición social, golpea a todos los presentes y golpea a la sociedad en general... Todos aquí perdimos algo, claro está hay pérdidas irreparables como quien perdió o extravío a un familiar o un ser querido, hay otras pérdidas materiales que se reconstruyen poco a poco, hay otras pérdidas que se van reconstruyendo internamente... Eso sí todas duelen, todas tienen un proceso diferente para sanar, para reconstruirse y dar paso a un cambio.
Un cambio que va a llegar mediante la acción, mediante el movimiento, porque para sanar no podemos quedarnos de brazos caídos, ni paralizados por el peso del reto... Eso sí debemos entender y aceptar que cada persona tiene un tiempo diferente, tiene un proceso propio y único, si alguien siente que debe permanecer en calma un poco más entonces debe hacerlo, si alguien siente que debe volver a la rutina debe hacerlo, cada uno de nosotros se conoce y sabe muy bien que es lo que más le conviene.
Lo más importante a destacar es que un desastre natural y estos momentos de desesperación, de derrota, que estos días grises no nos definen, este desastre es una etapa que debemos vivir pero no habla de un desastre interno o mental que provocó lo que estamos viviendo, debemos enfocarnos en transformar o extraer la enseñanza, el aprendizaje, porque todo lo que vivimos algo nos enseña.
Porque aunque hoy no entendamos el porqué y tal vez nunca sepamos a ciencia cierta por qué nos tocó vivir este desastre natural, hay una verdad y es que después de que la tierra tembló, un pueblo entero despertó y todo va a cambiar para mejor, de aquí en adelante veremos una sociedad mejor y ya hoy en día podemos ver el cambio, podemos ver un pueblo resiliente, más fuerte y más unido.

Sometimes difficulties arise as a consequence of our actions, as the fruits of what we once sowed. Other times, we simply have to live through them, as happens with natural disasters. When the force of nature arrives, we have no choice but to accept life's challenge.
Some believe that a natural tragedy is a punishment, others that it is destiny, others adhere to science and the logic of geology, some speak of curses, others of pacts... But whatever the cause, the result is heartbreaking, very difficult, and a true challenge.
In this tragedy we all lost something, not all of us lost the same thing but the earthquake shook us all, some lost family, others lost possessions, some lost physical health, others mental health, some lost faith, others stability or sensitivity or mental balance... Because when nature speaks, it does so with force and sometimes without warning.
When a natural disaster strikes, it doesn't discriminate based on race, sex, or social status; it affects everyone present and society as a whole. We all lost something here. Of course, there are irreparable losses, like losing or misplacing a family member or loved one. There are other material losses that are gradually rebuilt, and still others that are dealt with internally. All of them hurt, and each has a different process for healing, for rebuilding, and for giving way to change.
A change that will come through action, through movement, because to heal, we cannot remain passive or paralyzed by the weight of the challenge. We must understand and accept that each person has a different timeline, their own unique process. If someone feels they need to remain calm a little longer, then they should. If someone feels they need to return to their routine, then they should. Each of us knows ourselves and knows very well what is best for us.
The most important thing to emphasize is that a natural disaster and these moments of despair and defeat, these dark days, do not define us. This disaster is a stage we must live through, but it doesn't speak to an internal or mental disaster that caused what we are experiencing. We must focus on transforming or extracting the lesson, the learning, because everything we experience teaches us something.
Because even though today we don't understand why, and perhaps we will never know for sure why we had to live through this natural disaster, there is a truth: after the earth shook, an entire people awoke, and everything will change for the better. From now on, we will see a better society, and today we can already see the change; we can see a resilient, stronger, and more united people.
