Así me sorprendieron mi esposa y mi hija con este bonito regalo (Esp-Eng)

Este post debí hacerlo hace un buen rato, pero surgieron muchas cosas y, la verdad, se me pasó escribirlo en el momento correcto. Mi hija y mi esposa me tenían preparada una sorpresa el Día del Padre cuando llegué de mi trabajo. Fue un hermoso detalle precisamente con motivo de esa fecha, valga la redundancia. A todos nos gustan los regalos, independientemente de cuál sea el motivo; regalo es regalo, así que siempre será bienvenido.

I should have written this post a few days ago, but so many things came up that I simply forgot to write it at the right time. My daughter and wife had a surprise for me on Father's Day when I got home from work. It was a lovely gesture, especially considering the occasion. We all like gifts, regardless of the reason; a gift is a gift, so it's always welcome.

Ellas me regalaron una camisa muy bonita con la frase: "Yo tengo al mejor papá del mundo". Esa camisa me gustó muchísimo. Además, tiene un estampado personalizado que mi esposa mandó a hacer con fotografías de momentos muy especiales que hemos compartido. Ya saben, esos momentos espontáneos en los que tomamos fotografías para guardarlas en la galería y recordarlas en el futuro.

They gave me a really nice shirt with the phrase, "I have the best dad in the world." I loved that shirt. It also has a custom print that my wife had made with photos of some very special moments we've shared. You know, those spontaneous moments when we take pictures to keep in the gallery and remember them later.

Quedé muy contento porque mi esposa supo elegir precisamente las imágenes que más me gustan, ya que cada una corresponde a un momento especial y, emocionalmente, significa mucho para mí. En esas fotografías aparezco, por ejemplo, cargando a mi hija durante sus primeros baños de sol cuando apenas había nacido; también está nuestra primera salida al centro comercial y nuestra primera fotografía navideña junto a ella. En fin, cada imagen representa un recuerdo muy importante. Además, la caja del regalo estaba realmente hermosa y muy elegante.

I was so happy because my wife knew exactly which pictures I loved most, since each one corresponds to a special moment and means a lot to me emotionally. In those photos, for example, I'm holding my daughter during her first sunbaths when she was just born; there's also our first trip to the mall and our first Christmas photo together. In short, each picture represents a very important memory. Plus, the gift box was truly beautiful and very elegant.

La risa de mi hija al momento de tomarnos la foto fue épica. Además de eso, quería comerse la caja del regalo y, por si fuera poco, también intentaba morder lo que estaba dentro de ella. Bueno, los bebés siempre quieren llevarse todo a la boca. Sin duda fue un detalle muy bonito. Ser papá es una bendición enorme. Siento que mi vida cambió por completo desde que llegó nuestra Anthonella. Ahora todo lo que hago es pensando en ella; trabajo por ella, lucho por ella y vivo para verla crecer feliz. Y así será siempre.

My daughter's laughter when we took the picture was priceless. Besides that, she wanted to eat the gift box and, to top it off, she was also trying to bite what was inside. Well, babies always want to put everything in their mouths. It was definitely a very sweet gesture. Being a dad is an enormous blessing. I feel like my life completely changed since our Anthonella arrived. Now everything I do is for her; I work for her, I fight for her, and I live to see her grow up happy. And it will always be that way.
