Hello friends, how is everyone? I hope you are all doing well and wish you long lives. I frequently share posts featuring elements of the natural environment, and today I am sharing images of a beautiful flying insect—Ceriagrion cerinorubellum—engaged in an interaction with another insect of the same species; it is unclear whether one is attacking the other (which is relatively smaller) or if they are simply sharing a joyful moment. I was captivated by its beauty and took a few photos with my mobile phone; these attractive images are presented below for you all to view.
A few days ago, I was cleaning the garden at my school—which features a variety of plants—along with my students. While doing so, I glanced toward the south and suddenly spotted two insects—one large and one small—resting beautifully on the leaf of a weed. I was truly amazed by their positioning; the larger insect was perched atop the smaller one. I observed the larger insect touching the smaller one's mouth, a sight that initially made it seem like they were sharing a joyful moment. However, it also crossed my mind that the larger insect might be attacking the smaller one and could eventually kill it. I witnessed this entire scene with my own eyes.
This is an insect found in a natural environment, and it is capable of flight. Its body is very slender, and its wings are also remarkably thin. It uses the wings on either side of its body to move from place to place and fly wherever it pleases. Upon closer inspection, I noticed a beautiful blend of colors on its body, making it look truly exquisite. I occasionally spot insects like this in various locations; they are most often found resting on the leaves or stems of roadside weeds. Since I found it so appealing, I took a few photos and am now sharing them with my friends in the Hive community. I hope you all take a look at these photos—captured on my mobile phone—and enjoy them. Thank you to all my friends.
