Greetings, Hive friends, I hope you’re all having a great time. As I mentioned in my previous post, I’d been away from the platform for a while for personal reasons; however, I’ve decided to start sharing things with you all again.
I’d like to share one of the experiences I had a year ago. My youngest son was finishing nursery to move up to Year 1. He was really excited to meet his classmates and his teacher; I remember that almost every day he’d ask me what his new teacher would be like, and he even wanted to see the classroom where he’d be having his lessons. I just kept telling him he’d meet her soon. There were only a few days left until his graduation and I was rushing about buying his things his uniform and all that – so that everything would be ready when the day came
However, just when everything was finalised – including the date – with approximately two weeks to go before the event, some complications arose. Due to the heavy rain and the rising water levels at that time, many residents were severely affected and, in view of the situation facing the community and the entire town, the graduation ceremony was suspended until further notice.
After getting through that ordeal, everything gradually returned to normal until we were able to get back on track and carry on with the plans that had already been made, such as the children’s graduation.
The long-awaited day arrived: stressful yet exciting, because on that day not only would my youngest son be graduating, but my other son, aged 11, was graduating on the very same day too. In other words, it was two events in one. I was over the moon to see my sons graduate, as they were excited about what this new experience would be like
Well, I remember that my children got up very early that day. My eldest son went about getting ready whilst I dressed the youngest; I remember they were keen to get to school early, as that was where the event was to take place. Once we were all ready, we set off
That day, I was so happy to see them receive their awards. As a mother, it’s incredibly rewarding to see our children grow up and reach new milestones in their studies and in life.
Thank you, friends at Hive, for stopping by and reading my post.
