Quiet Sydney city day - art and history old and new : August 13 2026 — @carrinm

Body needs a quiet day. Got one lining up - Cheese and Wine lunch. A collection of old timers from Commonwealth Bank and University of Sydney started a long time ago.

We had a great lunch with a smaller group. Food was good. Wine all came from a well known Hunter Valley vineyard - Tamburlaine

Part of the lunch is a trivia competition - prize - a bar of chocolate each - we won. Got tie wrong one of which I knew - Diet - Japan

Art on a different scale in the new Gadigal Metro station - it matches the scale of the the walkways - huge arches

Cannot boast about house work - toasted sandwich for my dinner

A small group of people, but surely very pleasant—those are my favorite get-togethers: a few friends, good food, and a beautiful setting. Everything you show of Sydney in your posts is so beautiful; I hope it's a place I can visit someday. I've had a few glimpses of Masonic lodges, and I'm always amazed by the elegance and architecture. They focus on offering the best to their members. Thanks for sharing; I'm glad to see you're doing well!...
