Hi, beautiful people of the this community! I hope you’re all doing great! Today, I’d like to share with you some photos I captured of the beautiful buildings here in Insel, Lindau.
I was with my husband and our friend Christian when we decided to have a drink at a restaurant called Brunnen Café. We chose to sit outside, even though the wind was getting colder because it was already getting close to nighttime.
But I’m actually glad we decided to sit outside because, just look at this beautiful building!
For me, there was something really special about the way it stood there, especially with the evening atmosphere around it.
Of course, I immediately grabbed my phone and started taking some photos. I just used my Samsung phone, by the way! I’m always amazed at how you can capture beautiful moments with something as simple as the phone you carry with you every day.
Sometimes, you don’t have to look too far to find something worth photographing. You just have to sit back, look around, and notice the beauty that’s already there.
As you can see, they also have their own car service, and I was lucky enough to capture one of their cars parked right in front of the building.
I thought it was a nice little detail to include in my photos, especially with the beautiful building in the background. Sometimes, these small details make a photo feel more complete and tell a little more of the story of the place.
We didn’t order any food this time, we just decided to have some drinks instead. It was kind of like our own little bar-hopping adventure around the Insel!
I didn’t drink too much, though, because we still had to ride our bikes home afterward. So I had to be a little more careful and make sure I was still okay to ride safely.
It was still a fun evening, good drinks, beautiful surroundings, and great company. Sometimes, that’s all you need for a memorable night!
I continued playing around with the camera on my Samsung phone and decided to make my husband and our friend Christian the subjects of this photo.
It was fun experimenting with different angles and compositions, especially with the beautiful surroundings as our backdrop.
For the next photo, I decided to switch things up and make the Aperol my main subject instead of my husband and Christian.
That’s why, as you can see, the Aperol appears much clearer and more defined, while the two of them in the background are slightly blurred. I was simply playing around with the focus and depth of field on my Samsung phone, and I really liked how the photo turned out!
It’s fun experimenting with different subjects and seeing how a small change in focus can completely change the feel of a photo.
Sometimes, you don’t need a professional camera or a planned photoshoot, you just need good subjects, a beautiful location, and a little creativity. 😊
We always have such a great time whenever we’re together. There’s always something to talk about, stories to share, and of course, a good drink to enjoy along the way.
These simple moments of laughter, stories, and good company are definitely worth capturing and remembering.
That's all for today and hopefully you get to appreciate today’s blog.
