I’m sharing this decorative flower I made using my national tricolor with the quilling technique, in honor of my beloved Venezuela and all my brothers and sisters.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Me dueles tanto mi hermosa Venezuela, con el corazón y el alma destrozada sinceramente no tengo palabras para describir lo que siento en este momento. A través de mi arte dejaré plasmados mis sentimientos más profundos. De verdad lo lamento, pero no puedo decir más... 💔

Les dejo está flor decorativa que realicé con mi tricolor nacional en la técnica de quilling, en honor a mí querida Venezuela y todos mis hermanos.

Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

Comencemos:😃

• I started by taking a 3mm-wide red quilling strip. Using the quilling needle, I rolled up the entire strip, secured it with extra-strong white glue, and removed it from the needle to form a closed circle. We’ll need 5 circles of the same size.

• Once the circles were ready, I shaped them into leaves to form my petals. I grouped them into two sets and then joined them all together into a single piece to form the bottom part of the flower.

• To harden and protect the flower, I applied a coat of extra-strong white glue and let it dry thoroughly.

• Comencé tomando cinta para quilling de color rojo de 3mm de ancho, con la aguja para quilling procedí a enrollar toda la cinta, sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte y saqué de la aguja para obtener un círculo cerrado. Necesitaremos 5 círculos del mismo tamaño.

• Listos los círculos los moldee en forma de hojas para formar mis pétalos, los uni en dos grupos luego los incorpore todos en una sola pieza para formar la parte de abajo se la flor.

• Para endurecer y proteger la flor me apliqué una capa de pega blanca extra fuerte, deje secar bien.

• To make the second flower, I took a 3mm-wide blue ribbon and wound it around the needle. When I ran out of ribbon, I removed it from the needle, loosened it slightly, and secured it with extra-strong white glue to form an open circle. We’ll need 7 identical circles.

• I took each circle and shaped it by folding it in half and joining each end with glue, then wrapped a ribbon of the same color around it to keep the petals from opening up.

• I joined all the petals together with extra-strong white glue to form my other flower.

• To make the center of the flower, I used a paper crimper and threaded a 3mm-wide yellow ribbon through it.

• After crimping the ribbon, I wound it around the needle without applying too much pressure so it wouldn’t lose its shape. Once I’d used up all the ribbon, I secured it with extra-strong white glue and removed it from the needle to create a crimped circle.

• Para realizar la segunda flor, tomé cinta de color azúl de 3mm de ancho enrollé con la aguja, al terminar con ma cinta saqué de la aguja solté un poco y sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, para obtener un círculo abierto. Necesitaremos 7 círculos iguales.

• Tomé cada circulo y lo moldee doblando a la mitad y uniendo cada punta con pega, luego pase una cinta del mismo color alrededor para evitar que se abran los pétalos.

• Uno todos los petalos con pega blanca extra fuerte para formar mi otra flor.

• Para realizar la parte central de la flor, use un Corrugador de papel por el cual pase una cinta de color amarillo de 3mm de ancho.

• Corrugada la cinta enrollé con la aguja sin forzar mucho para que no se deforme la misma, al finalizar con toda la cinta sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte y saqué de la aguja, para obtener un círculo corrugado.

• I assembled all the pieces by gluing them on top of one another, which is how I created my 3D flower.

• To decorate, I took 7 half-pearls and glued them to each blue petal.

• I attached a jewelry ring to the top of a red petal, along with a blue Chinese thread pendant I had made earlier; you can use a keychain or pendant of your choice.

• To finish, I applied a quick-drying gloss over the entire flower to harden it, protect it, and give it shine.

This is how I finished this decorative quilling flower pendant in the colors of the flag of my beloved Venezuela 💛💙❤️🇻🇪

• Ensamble todas las piezas pegando una encima de otra, de esta manera forme mis flor en 3D.

• Para decorar tomé 7 medias perlas y las pegué en cada pétalo azul.

• Coloqué una argolla de bisutería en la parte de arriba de un pétalo rojo más un colgante de hilo chino azul que realicé con anterioridad, puedes usar un llavero o colgante de tu preferencia.

• Para finalizar apliqué un brillo de secado rápido en toda la flor para endurecerla, protegerla y darle brillo.

De esta manera finalice esta flor colgante decorativo con los colores de la bandera de mi amada Venezuela 💛💙❤️🇻🇪 en la técnica de quilling.
