Hi there. The Pokemon TCG Pocket set Ruler of the Skies has a full reveal.
This B4 set features Mega Rayquaza ex.
As there are so many cards, I feature some here. This post is long.
Beautifly & Dustox Evolution Lines

Silcoon and Cascoon are kind of interesting. Cocoon Collector is not an damage dealing attack but you can cheat the evolution process. You put 3 random cards amongst Silcoon and Cascoon from your deck and Bench them.
Beautifly looks like a decent single prize attacker. Evoflight does 30 base damage plus 30 more damage for each Evolution Pokemon on your Bench.
Dustox looks annoying to play against. The Cutting Wind attack is okay but the Ability is interesting. With Variety Powder, you can use this once during your turn to give your opponent's Active Pokemon a random Special Condition. Special Conditions include Burned, Confused and Poisoned (no Paralysis).
Combee & Vespiquen ex
Combee is a fragile but dangerous attacker.
Vespiquen ex is an okay attacker. I don't like the idea of discarding a Benched Pokemon to deal more damage. You do need to run recovery cards if any to bring back your discarded Grass Basic Pokemon.
Pheromosa & Teal Mask Ogerpon
Pheromosa's Prelude attack looks scary in the early game. Two Grass Energy for 90 damage if you have zero points/Knockouts is powerful.
Teal Mask Ogerpon's attack is a bit costly at 2 Grass and 1 Colourless Energy. You deal damage equal to this Pokemon's remaining HP.
Typhlosion ex Evolution Line
Cyndaquil and Quilava are not the greatest attackers but are needed for Typhlosion ex.
When it comes to Pokemon ex art, they usually showcase the Pokemon coming at you with its big mouth.
The hard part about playing Typhlosion ex is meeting the Energy requirements for the Destructive Inferno attack.
Walimer + Wailord ex
Walimer and Wailord have high attack costs and high retreat costs. They do have high HP, especially the Wailord ex.
Psyduck + Golduck, Carvanha + Mega Sharpedo ex
Psyduck and Golduck are not great attackers. I put these two in here the showcase the interesting Psyduck art. So dramatic. I am not sure if Psyduck has a big headache or is sad about something.
Carvanha's 30 damage attack for 1 Water energy is good in the early game. It can knock out a 30 HP Baby Basic Pokemon.
The Mega Sharpedo ex seems okay. It has a zero retreat cost and a simple attack. Turbo Shark for 1 Water Energy deals 70 damage plus you accelerate 1 Water Energy to 1 of your Benched Water Pokemon. In theory, you can power up something like a Wailord ex on the Bench.
Rotom ex + Eelektross Evolution Line
Rotom ex is kind of interesting. For 2 Lightning Energy, the Junk Spark attack does 30 base damage. This attack does 10 more damage for each Item card in your discard pile. In a 20 card deck, you maybe play around 4 to 6 Item cards. The maximum possible damage would be 70 damage from 2 energy. Hmm, not that good.
Eelektross seems okay. It does take work to get a Stage 2 attacker in play. The Energy Crush attack for 1 Lightning Energy and 1 Colourless Energy deals 50 base damage plus 20 more damage for each Energy attached to all of your opponent's Pokemon. This Eelektross can deal big damage against decks that like a lot of Energy.
Mime Jr. + Wynaut + Hoopa
Mime Jr. in the early game could be okay. Use up cards for the turn and then match the opponent's large hand. It is a weak Basic Pokemon at 30 HP. Be careful.
Wynaut looks annoying to face against. This 30 HP has a Stompy Jammer free attack. This does 10 damage plus the opponent's attacks on the Defending Pokemon costs 1 Colourless Energy more during your opponent's next turn.
This Hoopa is more of a Control attacker. For one energy the Mischievous Ring does 20 damage and you shuffle all Pokemon Tool cards from each of your opponent's Pokemon into their deck. I don't think this Hoopa is great unless I am missing something.
Galarian Obstagoon Evolution Line
This evolution line seems okay.
Galarian Obstagoon can hit for 80 damage to any of your opponent's Pokemon. The big issue is meeting the energy requirement of 1 Dark and 2 Colourless for the attack.
Absol + Hoopa ex
Absol seems like a decent low energy attacker. Enhanced Blade for 1 Dark Energy deals 20 damage plus 30 more damage if this Absol has a Pokemon Tool attached.
Hoopa ex is a Dark type instead of a Psychic type. Shadow Bullet for 1 Dark Energy is a spread attack that deals 30 damage to the opponent's Active Pokemon and 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. Dynamite Punch needs more energy to deal just 100 damage plus 20 to itself. Hoopa ex does lack firepower so it is more suited and damage spread decks.
Dragonite Evolution Line
Dratini and Dragonair seem good.
Dragonite's Hyper Beam attack is okay. One Water, one Lightning and one Colourless Energy to deal 110 damage plus you discard a random Energy from the opponent's Active Pokemon.
Hydrapple Evolution Line
Order Pad, Deceptive Needle, Clear Veil
Order Pad is not a good card. Random coin flip for a random Item card. No thank you.
Deceptive Needle is a good Tool card for Dark decks. If the Dark Pokemon this card is attached to is in the Active Spot, you deal 10 damage to the opponent's Active Pokemon at the end of your turn.
Clear Veil is a defensive Tool card. The Pokemon with this Tool prevents all effects of attacks used by your opponent's Pokemon. You prevent Sleep effects, Paralysis effects and Confusion from the Special Conditions. You also prevent attack effects that places damage counters or auto knockout attacks.
Psychic, Drayden, Soothing Shore Stadium
The Psychic supporter goes well with your Active Pokemon that has the Psychic attack. The attacker with Psychic is not necessarily a Psychic type. You chooe 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon and move a random Energy from it to your opponent's Active Pokemon.
Drayden is compatible with Pokemon that have the Draco Meteor attack. During this turn, 1 of your opponent's Pokemon is chosen 1 more time for the Draco Meteor attack.
Soothing Shore is a healing stadium card. At the end of each player's turn, that play heals 20 damage from each of their Pokemon with Water Energy attached. Generally Water decks run Water energy but other Pokemon types do run Water Energy.
Some Shiny Cards
As with every set, there are shiny cards included in the set. The Shiny cards may include cards from previous set. I include some here.
There are two gold cards in this set. They are Raichu and Dragonair.
Some Art Cards
With this set there are some nice cards from a playability perspective as well as from an art perspective.
Thank you for reading.
