We've got new guests at our new place, and they're loving the experience!
It's been a month since I moved to this new place, which is in the middle of an apple orchard in Shilha Village. I haven't actually done setting up the place since it is going to be a temporary place until our new project gets ready.
But since I've been running a homestay for the past year, I do get a lot of requests. This time, I'm not completely ready since this place doesn't have every facility ready, such as a kitchen or even the mattresses. Plus, investing here for a short while is also not a good idea.
But we've got a new guest, everyone, who is here for two days. I had kept a few apples on the tree for her to pluck and enjoy. And that's what we did in the morning after breakfast.
We emptied the tree and collected all the leftover apples. They were sweet, juicy and crispy. Since it has been raining for the past few days, I hope the chemical sprays might have been washed away.
So, Echo was eager to catch the ones that were falling from the tree or the basket.
Fall has started, and the apple leaves are starting to dry up. We still have greenery lingering for a little longer. So, right now, the views from the room are still greener. Soon, it'll be the bright, dark Fall colours.
It has also been colder, with rain and snow on top of the mountains. The best part of yesterday was seeing them sleeping together, all cosy in one bed, together.
Kai has been in her heat since the 25th, and I think her body is returning to its normal form slowly. Since last month, they have been separated, and it was yesterday I let them sleep together after more than a month.
