Hey there readers of the worldmappin community! This girl @esciisc is back to take you on another virtual tour.
But this time, we’re taking a break from museums. Today, we’re going to heal our inner child and visit a fun amusement park called Sky Ranch Baguio!
Are you ready? Come along, and let’s explore Sky Ranch Baguio together!
Welcome to Sky Ranch Baguio!
Before we can start our adventure, there’s one important stop to make: the entrance!
We first have to pay the entrance fee before we can enter the park.
Once inside, we stop by the ticket booth to purchase tickets for the rides we’d like to try.
Now that we’ve taken care of that, we’re ready to explore!
As soon as you enter, you’ll notice how colorful the park is. With its exciting rides, carnival games, and cool Baguio weather, it’s a great place to have fun and bring out your inner child.
Let’s see what attractions we can find!
The Thrill Rides
Let’s start with the rides that caught my attention even before we entered the park!
Super Viking
It's giant swinging ship that goes higher with every swing! Just watching it made me curious about how it feels to ride one. Would you dare to try it?
Drop Tower
Ready for a sudden rush of excitement? The Drop Tower takes you high up before dropping you down. Definitely one for the thrill-seekers!
Family-Friendly Rides
Not all rides have to be thrilling. Some are perfect for enjoying the park at a slower pace with family and friends.
Baguio Eye
Of course, we can’t miss the park’s iconic Ferris wheel! The Baguio Eye features enclosed gondolas that take you high above the park. I also took some photos of the attractions while riding it. It’s a nice way to see the park from above!
Double Decker Carousel
A classic carousel with two levels of beautifully decorated horses. It looks like something straight out of a fairytale!
Mini Pirate
Can you spot the little swinging ship in the photo? I took this photo while riding the Ferris wheel. The Mini Pirate is beside the Flying Bus, which appeared to be undergoing repairs during our visit.
Funny Swing
This one was fun to watch! When we visited, students were riding the Funny Swing. I could hear them squealing, screaming, and laughing every time it swung back and forth.
Sometimes, watching other people have fun is entertaining enough!
Red Baron
This plane-themed ride looks especially appealing to children. There weren’t any riders on it during our visit, though, as there were only a few visitors at the park that time.
Sky Cruiser
The Sky Cruiser gives visitors a different view of the park from above. To me, it looked more exciting than thrilling!
Carnival Games
Aside from the rides, Sky Ranch Baguio has colorful carnival game booths where you can test your skills and win prizes. You might even take home a cute stuffed toy!
Here are some of the games we spotted during our visit.
Hook a Duck
Hooking a duck looks simple, but can you catch the one you want?
One Ball In to Win
Roll the ball and aim for a winning spot. It might take a little skill to win this one!
Pyramid Smash
Remember those games where you throw a ball to knock down a pyramid of cans? That’s what this game is all about!
Ring Toss
Toss a ring and try to land it around a target. It looks easy, but getting it right can be tricky!
Which game would you try first?
Other Attractions Around the Park
Aside from rides and carnival games, there are other things to see while exploring Sky Ranch Baguio.
Let’s take a little walk around!
Indianapolis
When I saw this attraction, my first thought was that it looked like a skating rink! It also looked like visitors could rent skating shoes.
Road Train
Feeling tired from walking?
The Road Train takes visitors on a leisurely ride around the park. Most of the passengers I noticed were kids, and it looked like a fun way for them to enjoy the surroundings without walking everywhere!
After walking around and checking out the attractions, we were starting to feel tired. But before finding a place to rest, we passed by a few more interesting spots!
Music Pod: A Karaoke Experience
Do you love singing but feel shy when other people can hear your voice? Then you might like the Music Pod!
It’s a karaoke spot where you can sing your favorite songs inside a small, capsule-like room. The best part? You can sing without worrying too much about other people hearing you!
So go ahead and sing your heart out. No judgment here 😂
Cute Spot for photos
As we continued walking, we came across a tunnel-like area with cartoon characters displayed on the walls.
Of course, we couldn’t just walk past it without taking photos! We also spotted a few statues around the park.
It’s always nice to have pictures to remember our little adventures.
Finally, Time to Rest!
After exploring the park, we finally found a place to sit and relax.
One thing I appreciated was the peaceful surroundings. Sitting in the resting area, surrounded by pine trees and enjoying Baguio’s cool weather, felt so refreshing.
Sometimes, the best part of an adventure is simply having a quiet moment to sit down, enjoy the fresh air, and appreciate where you are.
And after all that walking, we definitely needed that little break!
Your tour guide taking a little break from all the walking to check if she captured enough memories for this virtual tour! 📸😂🎡💕
And that wraps up our virtual tour of Sky Ranch Baguio! I hope you enjoyed exploring the park with me, even if it was only through photos and stories.
Traveling isn’t always about visiting famous landmarks or checking off every tourist spot on your list. Sometimes, it’s about trying something new, enjoying the little things, and making memories along the way.
And every once in a while, it’s also about giving ourselves permission to be kids again.
So, when was the last time you did something just for fun?
Until our next adventure, see you on the next virtual tour!
