Walking through the forest allows you to find treasures like this, a beautiful coral fungus known as such for its resemblance to marine corals with its hundreds of branches.

This species grows on decomposing logs, however sometimes I have found it directly on the ground in decomposing matter. However, the one found in that space had a more intense color than this one.

Bone white or soft creamy white in color, it is a beauty to the eyes, and when we find it in this state, so beautiful and pure, in impeccable cleanliness, with all its folds reaching for the sunlight.

With its beautiful shapes and branches, it has a soft, rubbery, very elastic stem. Likewise, at its tips it has tooth-like points, which makes it look like a beautiful plant with hundreds of trees in summer with branches without leaves.

There are several species of this variety, which means there are many variants in its family, so we must be very careful when collecting it.

It is edible, yes, but only certain species. This is one of them. There are more intense shades—more yellows and more orange or brown colors—so we must be very careful when collecting it to eat.

If you are not sure about its edibility, do not touch it. It can cause stomach upset or poisoning.

Be prudent with these magical beings; they can kill you or seriously damage your body.

Thank you for coming. Happy Fungi Friday.

These are my favorite to forage for. They cook up nicely with a good texture and taste all by themselves. But if you flash boil them then put them in ramen they are epic.

Waooo!! 😍🤩 what beautiful mushrooms, they look like sea corals, I'm a fan of these little ones, too bad that in my country Cuba 🇨🇺 in my area they're not very abundant to find.

Greetings bro, thanks for sharing these images and happy weekend!! 😊☺️🤝
