I really like this piece, I actually saw two of these over the course of the day but didn't manage to get a shot of the other one. There is something surrealist, about this image, the obvious human face, smoking, but disconnected, there is really something going on here, in the Dalí-esque sort of way. I'd be curious to know who did it but it is unsigned and a quick google image search leads nowhere.
Time for something more tradtional, this is on the back of a set of buildings which are set to be demolished to make way for a rather large apartment development, something like 800 apartments, it makes sense, people need to live places, but it's also a reminder of how impermanent areas are.
This would be a fairly horrible place to place basketball, I mean there is a fence, a post, a random piece of metal and a bin in the way - it is a better place to practice your street art though.
