Digital fan art of Sango

Hello, my dear otaku friends! I hope you’re all doing great today. Today, I want to share a very special illustration of one of my favorite characters in the entire anime universe: Sango, from the legendary series InuYasha. As we all know, she always stands out as an incredibly strong, brave, and beautiful young warrior. The creative process behind this piece was quite interesting. I came across an art sketch that completely caught my eye and decided to adapt it for this beloved character, giving it a totally different and original twist compared to what we’re used to seeing on TV. Instead of her classic demon slayer uniform or traditional kimono, I chose to draw her wearing a beautiful swimsuit.

To keep Sango’s essence and identity completely intact, I carefully selected a specific color palette that represents the brand perfectly. This allowed me to strike an ideal balance between the novelty of this design and its signature, long-standing characteristics. I had a blast stepping out of my usual routine with this summery concept. I truly hope you like the result—let me know what you think in the comments!

¡Hola, mis queridos amigos otakus! Espero que se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una ilustración muy especial de uno de mis personajes favoritos de todo el universo del anime: Sango, de la mítica serie InuYasha. Como todos sabemos, ella destaca siempre por ser una joven guerrera sumamente fuerte, valiente y linda.En esta ocasión, el proceso creativo detrás de la obra fue bastante interesante. Encontré un boceto artístico que capturó por completo mi atención y decidí adaptarlo a este querido personaje, pero dándole un giro totalmente diferente y original a lo que estamos acostumbrados a ver en la televisión. En lugar de su clásico uniforme de exterminadora de demonios o su kimono tradicional, opté por dibujarla luciendo un hermoso traje de baño.

Para mantener la esencia y la identidad de Sango completamente intactas, seleccioné con mucho cuidado una paleta de colores específicos que la representan a la perfección. Así logré un equilibrio ideal entre la novedad de este diseño y sus rasgos más característicos de siempre. Me divertí muchísimo saliendo de la rutina con este concepto veraniego.
