Hello, how are you? They say when you eat too many carrots, your skin will turn orange over time, and I don't know if that's real. Like, how cool is that? I've been so down lately, and I don't know what is bothering me, but today I decided to treat myself with a gift. I just ordered it today, so I was so excited about it LOL.
So yeah, back to the topic, carrots and carrots have love and hate for each other so everytime I cook a dish with it I really like to fry it first before adding it to the dish, but there is one time my mom bought a carrot juice and it taste delicious so yeah, today I am going to make carrot Gloom this time I hope you like it.
Materials I Used:

Craft Time!
Condition the clay until it is smooth to the touch. This step is very important. Not conditioning your clay will surely when you bake it it will have crack in it.
Roll it around my hand until the outer part is smooth as in smooth.
Shape it into a carrot shape.
Using a metal ball, I added a dent for the Gloom head to be placed on.
To add texture, I use the needle tool. Just run it around the clay until I am satisfied with the texture, and make sure to have a reference with you so it will be easier to add the texture.
I added shades to the clay just to make it more realistic and dimensional at the same time.
For the stem part, I roll a lighter-colored clay that is close to green, and then I add shade to the top part only, just like a carrot, I guess LOL.
And then I added them one by one on top of the carrot. Set it aside for later.
For the head, I use a skin-tone clay, and if you don't have one, mix white with just a little of yellow and red. Make sure to start with a bit of it so that you can balance the shade of skin tone you wanted. After that, just like from the first one I made, condition it and shape it.
And then I added that head to the dent I made earlier on the carrot.
And then, of course, I added a map for the parts of the face.
For the eye, I cut and rolled two small ball-shaped clay and I added it on to the map I made earlier, one by one.
Same as the eyes is what I did to the eyebrows.
For the nose, I shaped pink pastel clay into a triangle shape, and then I added it onto the middle of the face.
For the lips, I roll a thin line of clay, and then I cut it using an X-Acto knife and added in below the nose one by one.
This is what it looks like.
Then I added the eyepin.
And then I added blush using soft pastels to the nose and cheeks.
Bake the clay and then let it cool.
To add the protective coat, I use UV resin, pour enough on it, and then apply it using a nail polish brush.
Cure it under a UV Lamp for a few minutes.
To add the keychain, I put the jump ring into the eyepin along with the keychain.
And lock it using two pliers.
