Hello, how are you? To celebrate T.O.P.'s comeback, I am going to make a Gloom Hipper inspired by his outfit and style in one of his MVs. It has been a while since I made a phone hipper. The last one I made is Eunho's Hipper. I got some experience in doing it, so I know what to do now. Unfortunately, I am going to replace Eunho as my phone hipper hehe.
Materials I Used:
- Polymer Clay
- Weighing Scale
- Glass Sheet
- Dotting Tool
- Acrylic Stamping Block
- X-Acto Knife
- Paper
- Needle Tool
- Soft Pastel
- Brush
- Oven
- UV Resin
- Disposable Gloves
- Mask
- UV Lamp
- Doublesided Tape
The Reference:
Craft Time!
Condition the clay first.
For this part, I am going to make the body first, so I am going to shape it into a body just like I did here.
And then I added the hands and feet. It looks like burnt chicken, but trust the process LOL. Then I am going to assemble them using my silicone clay tool.
This is what it looks like after. And then, using my X-Acto knife, I am going to cut the part where I will add the adhesive tape later.
After that, I am going to smooth it using my silicone clay tool. Set it aside for later.
For the head, I use skin-color clay and condition it.
And then shape it into a head. Make sure to smooth it first before doing the shaping.
And then I made a map for the parts of the face using my dotting tool.
For the eyes, I cut and rolled black clay into a small ball and added it one by one.
Same as for the eyebrows.
For the nose, I shape a pale pink clay into a triangle and put that onto the face.
Then I cut off the bottom to shape it like a nose.
For the lips, I roll a thin line of clay onto a notepad, cut it using an X-Acto.
And I add it one by one.
Then, for the blush, I use soft pastel and apply it using a brush on the cheeks and nose.
And then I connect the head to the body.
For the hair, I rolled black clay into lines. And I added the hair one by one.
Using my needle tool, I press the hair down to make it stick to the head.
And then I added another layer of hair and did the same thing I did earlier.
And for the sunglasses, I cut a clay shape into an oblong, and then I added it onto the hair, and then for the frame of the sunglasses I wrapped it with gray-colored clay than I roll.
This is what it looks like.
Then I added the arms.
The hands and the shoes.
Bake it and let it cool down.
To make it shinier and protected at the same time, I added UV resin, and then I applied it equally using a nail polish brush.
Cure it under a UV Lamp for a few minutes.

Then I added the adhesive double-sided tape to the place I cut earlier.

Then I tape it onto the back of my phone. I used my old phone as a sample.

But I am going to put it on my new phone LOL.

I hope you like it. Here is Gloom T.O.P Hipper.
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
Please take care of your mental health as well.
I hope you are okay today :))
