Tuesday ☀️ 12012

The last day of the conference, packing up, and the trip home. Lots of running around and packing. It was still around 30 degrees in Geneva. We arrived in Berlin late in the cool evening. I did manage to take a quick trip to Geneva’s Old Town with a colleague at least once. We did get caught in a full-blown thunderstorm there and got soaked to the bone, but it was warm, and despite the rain, it was a little adventure far away from work in the exhibition halls. I was also able to capture a few snapshots for you.

Letzter Kongressstag, Abbau und Rückreise. Viel Lauferei und Einpackerei. Immer noch um die 30 Grad in Genf. In Berlin dann am späten und kühlen Abend angekommen. Habe es dann wenigstens einmal kurz geschafft, mit einem Kollegen in die Genfer Altstadt zu fahren. Wir sind da zwar von einem amtlichen Gewitter erwischt und klatschnass geworden, aber es war ja warm und trotz Regen ein kleines Abenteuer fernab der Arbeit in den Hallen. Ein paar Impressionen habe ich euch auch einfangen können.

In Genf war ich glaube ich noch nie. Kann man anscheinend auch auf die to-visit-Liste setzen. Und ich finde es immer cool, wenn es solche Schach-Parks gibt, und die Leute die figuren nicht kaputt machen oder klauen. Sowas gibt es hier leider gar nicht, müsste alles angekettet werden.
