Hey, what's up, players! I truly hope you are all doing wonderfully well. As always, allow me to send you my most cordial greeting in order to welcome you once again to another Warioland II gameplay. In this Story 3, we will have to face a truly thorny forest, as in this section of the Maze Woods we will encounter at every turn the very annoying enemies known as the Kotsuheri, those helicopter-like and spiked skull shaped enemies which tend to be quite bothersome since, although some move with trajectories that are easy to predict, there are truly others that do not, with some of these having circular trajectories and a great speed that slows down our path towards the goal. Luckily we will have the help of the Owls for a large part of the journey, which will carry us flying towards the end of the goal and will help us collect a large amount of coins for Wario : )
Knowing How to Use the Mechanics. If we truly wish to take away as many coins as possible for Wario's loot in this level, then we will have to know how to make very good use of Wario's movement mechanics. For example, if we watch the gameplay starting from minute 02:45, we begin to make use of the downward sliding movement mechanic, and we can do this every time we find a descending surface where we can utilize the great momentum that Wario builds up in order to access areas of the level that we would not be able to reach using Wario's normal movements. This for example in this level is very necessary to use if we wish to reach the door where the mini-game is located to obtain the additional treasure of the level, as we can see at around minute 05:05. However, this truly was not an easy task for us as it took us several attempts to achieve it, ha ha!
The Owls Helped Us Again. In this level the Owls appeared once again to help us cross enormous sections of the map that we can only cross through the air and with the aerial assistance of these Owls, which turn out to be of great use for Wario's endeavor, since without their help it would be impossible for us to complete the level. Although the speed of the Owls can feel somewhat slow, it turns out to be helpful at the same time, since by not being so fast we will be able to better calculate the route and the next move to use with Wario, especially taking into account that we will have to cross areas infested with Kotsuheris.
The Owls vs Kotsuheris. The high durability of the Owls is of great help, but the trick lies in knowing how to use it, since what is truly difficult at the beginning is learning to detect the 'hitbox' of the Owls, because these are immune to damage from the Kotsuheris. Therefore we should not worry if the Kotsuheris touch the Owls. By the way, in this level we also managed to obtain the fragment of Wario's final portrait.
I think that is enough for today, friends. It truly pleases me if you made it this far, and as always I thank you very much for your support of this my gaming channel on 3Speak.
