Julley Everyone,
There are some journeys that are not about reaching a famous destination, but about everything you discover along the way. The trip to Lagul was one of those journeys... A ride into the mountains where the roads became quieter, the landscapes wilder, and the lakes appeared like hidden pieces of blue glass between the vast Himalayan surroundings.

The journey began early in the morning, with the mountains still covered in the soft light of sunrise. As we moved deeper into the hills, the familiar noise of towns slowly disappeared. The road twisted through forests, open mountain slopes and tiny settlements, with every turn offering a different view. The higher we climbed, the cooler the air became, and the feeling of being far away from everyday life grew stronger.

Reaching Lahul felt like entering a completely different world. Surrounded by mountains and untouched landscapes, the place had a calmness that was difficult to describe. There were no crowded streets or busy tourist spots just silence, cold mountain air and the sound of nature.

But the real beauty of the trip was exploring the lakes around Lahul. Each lake had its own character. Some were surrounded by rocky slopes, while others rested quietly among green meadows and mountain ridges. The reflections of the surrounding peaks on the still water made the scenery feel almost unreal.
Walking from one lake to another was an experience in itself. The trails passed through open landscapes, patches of vegetation and rugged mountain terrain. At times, the clouds would move across the peaks, changing the entire mood of the landscape within minutes. One moment the mountains were bright under the sun, and the next they disappeared behind a curtain of mist.

The farther we travelled, the more remote everything felt. There were moments when we could stand beside a lake without seeing another person for miles. Those were the moments that made the journey memorable. Sitting quietly beside the water, watching the clouds move over the mountains and listening to nothing but the wind made the entire trip feel like an escape from the ordinary.
As evening approached, the mountains began to change colour. The cold became sharper, the shadows grew longer and the lakes slowly lost their bright blue reflections. We stopped for a while to take in the view before beginning our journey back.
The trip to Lahul was more than just a ride to a mountain destination. It was an exploration of quiet roads, hidden lakes and landscapes that still feel untouched. It reminded me that some of the best places are not the ones you rush to reach, but the ones where you slow down, look around and let the mountains tell their own story.
And somewhere between Lahul and its surrounding lakes, surrounded by silence and towering Himalayan peaks, the journey itself became the destination.
So that's all for today guys, I hope you liked it. Thanks for your precious time. 🙏 Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
