I think I remember Mommy D roasting a squash seeds before, I can't remember much but there are times that she dried them in front of her store and using the seeds she got on the squash we bought to make a dish. To be honest, I sometimes doubt what Mommy D made that I don't always eat what she made. But not to let her down, I will try them too and will end up liking those she made haha. She can surely cook, thats for sure. Lol. But yeah, about the squash seeds, I can't remember much about my past experience with it but I will share the squash seeds that Mommy D roast today.

Remember the squash I bought with Mamabels weeks ago for a very cheap price? The cheap but big squash, that's where it came from, those seeds I'll be sharing.

And yes, Mama bought the small ones, it's 5 each and they are already ripe too and this is the best squash to get its seeds coz they'll be plump and yummy.
Sadly, we didn't get the seeds from Mama's squash, and Mama didn't even thought of keeping them. She already throw them in the yard where she expect it to sprout. I mean, it's not a bad thing. She can expect a good squash then if ever they started to sprout.

Lemme also share Mama's one recipe in her squash. It's a Torta, grated squash with flour. She said she already miss this so this is what she made. And no, she didn't burn it, according to her haha, and I was like "okay, if you say so." Lol. It is really not no? Haha

Now with the squash seeds, Mommy D actually dry them not directly to the sun, just for a few days in the table in front of the store. After just days, there it is, as you can see, she's already roasting them and she's using high heat, it also has salt just to give it a lil taste. They're lik popcorn that go POP, is it indication that it is ready? Mommy D just toss and turn them the turn off the gas after

She only roast them for few minutes, maybe 2 to 3 minutes. She remove them in the pan after and move it in a bowl. There's really not much and they are really tiny. I thought getting the inner seed would be hard but it is actually easy. You just have to squeeze both sides and boom

And actually, some just go pop open while Mommy D's roasting them so it is much easy. I picked that to eat coz all I had to do was get what's inside it hahaha

I also shared some to mama, I just teased her saying she should've throw her squash seeds. Mama tried it and she actually like them she said it taste like Peanut whick I kinda agreed.

Here's the seeds inside, they are plumpy compare to the one we often buy as a kid before that is flat and not so easy to remove its skin. Mama said, they maybe disn't use ripe squash seeds in there that's why it is flat. I really live how crunchy it is guys. When I eat it, I suddenly had this idea, that what if I made Polvoron with this? I think it is a good idea haha. Should I try? But shocks! We already ate them all. Teheeee. Maybe next time, I'll surely keep its seeds and make more then
This is such a nice experience for me. I'm discovering lot of things thanks to Mommy D's love for making this and that. Making the kutkutin Squash seeds is not that hard at all. Ehe
