My nerves couldn't handle it, so I didn't even watch the first half. I stayed away from the TV until some friends and of course, some rival fans dragged me outside to watch the second half. Not long after I joined them, England found the back of the net. The celebration from the England supporters was unbelievable. Everyone was on my neck, teasing me, saying, pack your bags, Argentina is going home today! I won't lie, my heart almost gave up. One of my friends was streaming the match on his phone, and somehow his stream was a few seconds ahead of ours. Instead of watching, I kept refreshing the live score every few seconds, hoping to see that magical equalizer. Then, in the 90+3 minute, magic happened. Lionel Messi produced a brilliant assist, and Argentina made it 1-1. The atmosphere changed instantly. Before the England fans could recover, Argentina struck again! Another assist from the GOAT himself, Messi, and suddenly we were leading 2-1. At that moment, all the teasing stopped. The same people laughing at me went completely silent.
