Wrapping up another year in style and stepping into what is next. Surviving 9 years on #hive is a great accomplishment for me. As usual, on 4th of October, I had my reminder message delivered on one of my post by the @hivebuzz team. I honestly believe they are doing an incredible work by keeping all the progress report of each user. Staying 9 years afloat in an unknown sphere is not an easy things for a person who were not into blogging neother in crypto. I trully belive, if something keeps you motivated and excited then never regret doing it. Looking back of my 9 years journey, and start writing about my challenges and obstacles, then it will be a again repeated post, like that I had posted in all those years. But I think it is the time to look ahead then talking nonsense about my not so successful journey. Nine years ago, I took a leap into a new frontier of social media. Today, I am incredibly proud to celebrate my 9th anniversary on the Hive blockchain.
It is great to have good experience on my back, surely It does not take me long to relaize that I did not able to make most of the opportunity that came along the during my stay. Yet finding myself still thriving daily is what making me happy. I have the same hunger and excitement like 9 years ago. Infact I had forgotten about this Birthday and was busy writing another post for the platform. This one is a bonus one to remind myself about being a vintage user in this wonderland. If #hivebuzzz did not send the reminder I would have forgotten completelly. After 9 years of content writing on the Hive blockchain, I am now entering into a phase of veteran status that places me among the platform's most experienced creators. Hitting the 9-year mark means I have been part of this ecosystem since its absolute infancy. I have transitioned from a standard blogger to a highly seasoned #Web3 native.

Like any anniversary, I do like to cut cake and celebrate but I leave it for next year (if remain afloat) to make it a grand occasion for completing a decade. But now I belive it will be good to look ahead in time to make most of the oppurtunity that were alligned during the coming course of journey. I might remain here or not, it is unpredictible. But I do like to do better in areas where I am currently lacking. From posting to commenting to curation. There is always a scope of improvement and I am not going to miss it. I am not a popular user as i would have been after 9 years. I did not have any whale hands on my back. All these years, I earned my rewards through hard efforts and the zeal to get better which kept the motivation factor alive.
Looking ahead is more important than looking back because our future is where we will spend the rest of our life, and our direction matters more than our history. During my 9 hears I might miss many things and unable to get things done properly. But now it is important to plan properly which allows me to prepare for new opportunities instead of repeating old mistakes. I was short on commenting on other users post, and hope to work upon it this year to get better. My rankings on #hive too is far behind than many other user. It is now time for more action. Action happens when our eyes are on the road ahead, not the rearview mirror. A precise goals give us a clear, exciting purpose to wake up for. Looking ahead after nearly a decade since the foundational tech began I would say that, the Hive ecosystem positions itself as a significantly better long term option due to true #decentralization. I does not have any plan yet, but surely will do the basic right before implementing new guidelines for myself.
Thank you to everyone who has read, upvoted, guided me to improve or built alongside me over nearly a decade. You all have made my journey a memorable one so far. Hive is proof that web3 communities are built to last. Cheers to the next chapter! 🥂🍻*
