Hello everyone, and I hope you’re off to a great start to the week. Today, I invite you to join me as I walk you through the step-by-step process of making this charming Cinnamoroll plushie—crafted from scratch using recycled materials and sewn entirely by hand.
If you’re a fan of plushies, you’re sure to love this idea; it’s a creative way to use materials that might otherwise go to waste but are actually perfect for small craft projects. I decided to make Cinnamoroll—a very cute white rabbit with blue accents and one of Hello Kitty’s friends from the Sanrio series—because I wanted to see how it would turn out. I chose this project for its simplicity and charming details. I’ve been focusing on making mini plushies lately, and I think this one is the cutest of them all. If you enjoy crafting with miniature details, I invite you to follow along with this step-by-step tutorial. You’ll love the idea of using fabric scraps to create something adorable—whether for home or school projects, as a gift, or simply to decorate your room.

Step by step

Paso 1/Step 1
Trace and cut out the Cinnamoroll shape on the fabric, and cut out each piece.
Paso 2/Step 2
Next, I used a blanket stitch to sew the small ears, attaching one to each side of the face piece; I did the same for both sides of the face. Then, I began sewing the two face pieces together to form the head, adding the stuffing—which consisted of the same fabric cut into small scraps—as I went. I stuffed the ears first before filling in the rest of the head.
Paso 3/Step 3
Then I sewed the body part as well and added stuffing; finally, I sewed both pieces together to form the complete stuffed toy.
Paso 4/Step 4
Then I sewed the body part as well and added stuffing; finally, I sewed both pieces together to form the complete stuffed toy.
Paso 5/Step 5
Finally, I sewed a small bow in the center of the neck as a finishing touch, and this lovely mini Cinnamoroll plush creation is all set.
