I’m popping in to share with you how I cleaned the air conditioning unit in my daughter’s bedroom after it had been switched off for so long whilst we were away. To get it up and running again, it needed some maintenance, so we started by taking it apart and protecting the electronic components so that the controls wouldn’t get wet when we hosed it down. We used a pressure washer with soapy water to clean the condenser, and then used plenty of water to rinse it off. It was a quick and easy job, as we were concerned about how well the air con would work given how long it had been switched off.

Hola a todos mis queridos amigos en esta linda comunidad de #homesolutions paso por aquí para compartir con ustedes la limpieza del aire acondicionado del cuarto de mi hija después de tanto tiempo cerrado por que estabamos de viaje y para poder volverlo a poner en uso había que hacerle mantenimiento asi que empezamos por desarmarlo y resguardar la parte electrónica para que al momento de hecharle agua no se mojaran los controles se usó el hidrojet con jabón para limpiar la condensadora y después se usó tanta agua para su enjuague fue un trabajo sencillo y rápido porque nos preocupaba el funcionamiento del aire por el tiempo que tenía pagado

Once the unit had been cleaned, dried and put back together, I switched it on. I left it running for several hours with the room closed off, and to be honest there were no surprises – it was cooling well. So I left it running – or rather, switched on – so that the room would cool down and get rid of that musty smell it had. I’d been worried about how long it had been out of use, as it was a new air conditioner that had only been in use for six months since it was bought, but thank goodness it’s working perfectly now. I’ll take much better care of it from now on, because with these power cuts, you never know what surprises it might throw at you, just like my friend’s did. I’ll sign off with this little post. Una vez que se limpió la consola se secó y se volvió a armar otra vez así se puso a funcionar se dejó varias horas con el cuarto cerrado y la verdad no hubo sorpresa estaba enfriando bien Así que lo dejé trabajando o mejor dicho prendido para que el cuarto se refrescará y votará ese olor a encerrado que tenía me había asustado el tiempo que tenía sin uso ya que era un aire nuevo y que solo había tenido seis meses de uso desde que se había comprado pero gracias a Dios está perfecto ahora cuidarlo mucho más porque con estos bajones de luz uno no sabe qué sorpresa le puede dar como el amigo me despido de ustedes con este pequeño pozo Espero que les haya gustado y nos leemos en uno próximo gracias a todos por leer.
