☕ Hi dear coffee lovers! ☕
A warm greeting to all of us coffee lovers in this community #cinnamoncupcoffee.
The other day I went to the mall with my sister to do some shopping. From there, we stopped by a café inside the Galeria supermarket, which is on the same floor. It was a sunny afternoon and it was hot—usually that mall is cool because it has central air conditioning. We sat down and ordered two Americanos; they were ready right away, served in disposable cups with a cookie.
To be honest, I really needed that coffee—I hadn’t slept well and was feeling sleepy. It was so hot. Just as I took my first sip, the power went out. Even though the supermarket has a backup generator, the air conditioning doesn’t work on it, so the heat kicked in. We all got on high alert, since there have been a lot of earthquakes in my city lately, and usually the power goes out first during seismic activity. We all looked at each other with such a look of fear—I think we were all thinking about the earthquakes.
Fortunately, everything remained normal, but the heat was unbearable. It was such a change from the cool, pleasant atmosphere, and all I could think about was getting out of there quickly—but with my coffee in hand, since the disposable cups let me do that. So we went outside and got in the car to head home; I finished my coffee in my brother-in-law’s car. The good thing was that it perked me up, and I loved the coffee—that’s why I always visit Galeria, even though I didn’t think the heat wave would get to me, since it’s the first time this has happened, although we do have power outages in my country. Coffee will always be the star of our daily lives, no matter the weather.

Un cordial saludo a todos los amantes del café de esta comunidad #cinnamoncupcoffee. En estos dias salí al centro comercial con mi hermana de compras, de alli visitamos una cafeteria, que tiene el supermercado Galeria que queda en ese mismo nivel, era una tarde soleada y hacia calor, por lo general ese centro comercial es fresco, pues tiene aire central, nos sentamos y ordenamos dos café Americanos, en seguida estaban listos servidos en vasos desechables, y con una galleta, la verdad necesitaba el café, pues no habia descansado bien y tenia sueño, estaba muy caliente, cuando tomé el primer sorvo se fue la electricidad, y aunque el supermerco tiene planta electrica los aires no funcionan, asi que se prendió el calor, y tambien nos pusimos alerta, ya que en mi cuidad está temblando mucho y por lo general, primero se va la luz en los movimientos sismicos, todos nos miramos y con tal expresion de miedo, creo que pensanmos en los temblores, afortunadamente todo seguia normal, pero el calor era insoportable, cambio el ambiente tan fresco y agradable y solo pensé salir rápido de alli, pero con mi café en mano, pues los vasos desechables me lo permitieron, asi que salimos y nos fuimos al carro hasta casa, terminé mi café en el carro de mi cuñado. Lo bueno fue que me active, y me encantó el café, por eso siempre visito Galeria, aunque no pensé que la ola de calor me agobiaria, pues es la primera vez que pasa, aunque en mi pais tenemos problemas eléctricos. El café siempre será el protagonista de nuestro dia a día, en todo clima.
